It would be nice to have a quick reference guide to know how to merge images for example. I'm still trying to figure out why my borders do not show. There were no instructions or directions in the box. It was a fairly easy set up once I downloaded the drivers. I do like how it scans and that I can easily adjust colors. I would recommend overall!
Nice scanner, good scanning quality, easy to use, limited scanning options with included software, but you can utilize Twain software if you have it. I am scanning old photos. It did a good job reoroducing about 90% of my photos on the automatic settings.
This is the 2nd scanner that I bought in a week… 1st one was an Epson V600, it had more capabilities but it was broke upon arrival and Epson wanted a Security Deposit to send me a replacement… It was their product and they wanted me to provide a CC before sending me a replacement… Easy fix, return it and buy another brand… Now comes this Plustek 1680, large format, nice, doesn't have all the capabilities of the Epson but it works!!! I'm also considering another Plustek scanner for 35mm slides and negatives scanning…
