It works flawlessly on both USB C and USB A ports. The speed it's there, 200 MB/s read and over 100 MB/s write.
This product is perfect for storing all your photos from your phone and your laptop to clear up space.
Exactly what I was looking for. Sleek small durable powerful. It's so small that it slips into my coin purse. Absolutely recommend this brand and this style is amazing.
love it!! it's easy to use, no problems!!
This is small and super easy to use. Definitely worth buying! This is my favorite flash drive!
Works well for my work use. It does slow down in speeds when it's hot but still runs good.
The two different connectors make this USB drive versatile. Spin it around the USB-C side to plug into your phone, dump some pictures and videos on it, then spin it right back to the USB-A side to plug into your computer for easy transferring.
Pros: - USB-C and USB-A on one USB memory stick. It is nice to be able to choose and trasnfer data from one USB type to another. - 128 GB is plenty of memory for normal use. Cons: - It is sold as a USB 3.2 device which makes it sound as though it takes advantage of speeds achievable for 3.2 devices. But that is not the case. - The USB-C connection is 10-20% faster for read speeds and 40-60% faster for write speeds than the USB-A connection (tested on two computers using CrystalDiskMark). In both cases the USB-A is an SS 10 connection and USB-C is a Thunderbolt connection.
product does not work the way I thought it would
The PNY duo link is extremely slow. I plugged it to two different 10GB USB-Cs and to one 5 GB USB-A on my new HP Omnibook 5. I tried to copy a 33 GB folder to it. Maximun write speeds noted at around 26 MB/s, but also as slow as 5 MB/s. Total time 1 Hr and 20 minutes. Too slow, even for a 3.2 Gen 1 thumb drive. I'm returning these two very soon and trying a 3.2 gen 2 flashdrive.
