This brace holds my knee nice and tight without making me feel like my leg is going to fall off. Its small enough to still feel the bike and get good grip but covers just enough to have basically whole leg protection. I only bought the left last time and I can feel the difference after a day of riding when my other knee is sore but the brace On my left feels amazing. I will say they tend to run a little small Im 62 200 lbs with bigger thighs and the large is towards the end on the tightening straps. Otherwise 10/10 -m-2014 HONDA CRF450R--
These braces are the best bang for your buck in my opinion. I have worn many knee braces over a decade of racing. These are one of the best I have worn, slim and very functional. These are not for everyone, there is no single knee brace that will work for everyone unfortunately. Motion is good, I only had one little hot spot on these braces but was fixed with a supplied pad. They are much cooler and breather better than Asterisk braces. Great all around protection.
Very light. Just walking with them on feels like they are there to help you out as much as for your protection. Gripping the bike never has been so much easier, natural and painless. All parts are serviceable but they only come with the small angle lock out which in my opinion is not enough to deter any serious hyper extension. For me, the MX boot goes over the bottom of the brace which may at first appear odd but in really it links the brace to the boot and minimizes twist and the budge around the boot top actually aids a lot with the gripping the bike. Usually adding gear slows me down but with these braces it's the opposite. For the price of an MRI the POD are well work the money
Haven't taken a serious fall with them and don't intend to. But the comfort is pretty good, better with a spandex leg guard/leggings, whatever you want to call it. I have had them for a year and done a fair amount of riding on them, they have held up well no issues. I got the wrong size first, because I'm not a reader, no problem though Rocky Mountain shipped me XLs and I shipped back the large no issues. Awesome staff and professionalism really happy with how supportive they are. READ, MEASURE YOUR LEG, GET THE RIGHT SIZE, don't be like me
love these! Only down fall is the upper and lower clip type buckle, its a bugger to get them to snap in. (I don't use the clip, instead I just lace the strap through the slot)
I use these with every ride. Previous injuries so I don't want to have anymore and these are medical approved for reducing the risk of injury.
Supper light great fit and feel highly recommend also very breathable
