When the games Explorer of Time and Explorer of Darkness came in the mail I was "the greatest mom in the world" to my 10 and 12 year old sons. They were bending over backwards to do their chores for me. They loved the games and all the "new stuff" in them. Were amazed at some of things that were in their. Hate the prices of the games but to be the greatest mom in the world is worth it.
Mystery Dungeon is the best game series ever; I see it on equal terms as the mainstream Pokemon games. Comparing it to Red/Blue Rescue Team, there has been great improvements in music, graphics, and plot, and puts Pokemon in a completely different perspective. The ending is so sweet, it would definitely make gamers cry, and even after, there's still post-ending events that lead up to shocking surprises. The only drawback? After defeating Darkrai, it gets a bit boring. The only motivation is recruiting legendaries afterwards, and I greatly GREATLY miss Friend Areas from Red/Blue. Still, I always discuss this game with friends, draw fanart and write fanfiction for it for how much I love it. It's a definite must-have for diehard Pokemon fans. (How can you call yourself a fan without it???)
So I got this game from my step-brother because he said it was boreing and he didn't like it. Well he was very wrong, because it was very fun. I never really liked pokemon but it was still very fun. I got caught playing it for hours. He was shocked because I got so much farther in the game than him. Its cute because you take this little personality quiz in the begining and them you get to be the pokemon most compatible to you. And the game is fun even after the credits because it has extended little senarios and never ending missions( which is a good thing).
Your a Human...turn into a Pokemon ad join another Pokemon to form a team and defeat the "bad' Pokemon! You collect items and get other Pokemon to join your team. You collect money! Buy or get gum mys to make your Pokemon or your team members smarter! once you beat the game(time line) it gets boring...But i would still get the game! It takes a while to beat the game! SO GET THE GAME! =P
ive had the game since it was released as soon as then store was opened i loved it since i turned it on but be aware listen to what it says its awesome better tha every game buy it if u like pokemon
Our 12yr loves Pokemon and love this games.
Bought this game for my grandson and he loves it.
The kids still love anything pokemon and this is no exception. There are however many "stumps" that need cheats to figure out.
I DID NOT LIKE THIS GAME. I GOT THIS GAME FOR MY SON, WHO IS 7, & HE DID NOT LIKE THIS GAME. HE LOVES POKEMON BUT THIS GAME IS HARD FOR HIM TO UNDERSTAND. IT HAS A LOT OF READING & IT TOOK ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO GET THE GAME STARTED & THEN THERE IS A LOT OF READING. HE ONLY PLAYED THE GAME ONCE, WHICH IS BAD BECASUE THE GAME COST SO MUCH. I THINK THIS GAME IS PROBABLY JUST BETTER FOR AN OLDER CHILD.
i think this game was a blow to pokemon, when i was little i loved to play the pokemon series. i still own the silver version for the gb color. well it seems so old now, but my cousin has this game for the ds, and it stinks!!! i was expecting so much more out of it, i wouldnt recomend it at all!
