Pokemon Sheet Cake

The bakery had great communication with us regarding the cake. At the time the printable image machine was down and the blue background with the lightning bolt couldn't be created. They reached out to me shortly after the order was placed to let me know and suggested the same Pokémon cake but in a different style featuring a fun icing design instead. They did an amazing job addressing the issue immediately! My son loved the cake and it tasted delicious!

The Pokémon cake we ordered looked great! I was very pleased and our birthday girl was so excited to be able to take the toppers with her! I've had cakes from Walmart before, but it has been a while. Our kids are grown. I love birthday cake! But this cake didn't taste good at all. Nothing like the cake I remember. Most of it was left over and no one got seconds. It tasted old. It was not light and fluffy. Someone suggested that the cakes may not be made in store anymore, but come frozen. Maybe not. But I will look at local bakeries next time.

the cake was really good. the problem was the bakery. we had a scheduled pick-up time. when we picked it up, it was locked in the freezer, and no one could find the person with the key, and they lost our order slip. The lady helping us was going to give us a much better cake for way under price, but they were able to track down the person with our order slip and freezer key. it took and hour and a half to figure it all out. my son ended up with his literally frozen cake but loved it anyway.

I have ordered SO many cakes from Walmart and this one really was not well made. The design was clearly printed in two sheets as there was line right through the middle, it was wrinkly throughout, %26 the piping was messy. The text that was printed on went right through darker color so it was hard to see. I am not sure if I will continue to get my cake from Walmart after this cake.

This review is based on the Coos Bay, OR store, but the last 2 cakes have had quality issues. Taste was great, but for a professional cake, not good. This cake had a big line down the middle. Last year our cake had a big bump. I decided to give them another chance, but sadly will have to find another place next time!

The cake itself was good. I've ordered so many cakes from Walmart that it was a shock at how cheap and ugly this cake looked. Instead of writing the Happy Birthday out so it matched the size of the cake (like they have done for every cake ice ordered in the past), they printed in plain looking print on the cake. It looked so cheap, plain and ugly. It was LAZY work for sure. Nowhere in the description did it state that the added words would not be written out but printed. I added a bunch of candles so it didn't look so bland.

Hello, I specifically requested strawberries in the middle of my cake and paid an additional charge for that customization. However, when I cut and served the cake, I noticed there were no strawberries in the cake at all. Since I paid extra for something that was not included, I would appreciate a partial refund or another reasonable resolution. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

absolutely disappointed. Upon picking up my cake my sons name was spelled incorrectly. I let the worker know she confirmed ON THE FILLED OUT SLIP BY ME that they made a mistake but she could not fix it due to no one else being there that could re do it. this was at 3pm mind you! so my son got a cake with a misspelled name

Cake was fine. Customer service was trash. I scheduled my pickup for after 4 on a Friday. I showed up at 4:15 and didn't leave until 4:45 because no one was working the bakery. I asked someone stocking fruit if they could help. They sent me to the deli. The woman working came up and I asked her if she could help me because I had a cake order and couldn't find anyone. She said “No.” I said, “No what? No you can't help me or no there isn't anyone over there?” She said, “No.” So I told her thank you for being no help. Went back to the woman scanning fruit and she told me to go to customer service halfway across the store. At this point I'm beyond angry. I knew where you keep the cakes and was about to just let myself back there. But I did the “right” thing and walked to customer service just for them to page someone over the intercom to help grab my cake. Something apparently the other three employees over there were incapable of doing. Get rid of the girl behind the deli.

The design was broken and wrinkled in several places. The writing looked like it was written by a child at home with cheap icing pens. The cake itself wasn't horrible, but the “Pokémon” aesthetic was terrible. I ended up having to buy Pokémon figurines to decorate and scrape the writing to try to do it at home.
