Medicare stopped paying for this machine so doctors are saying that ice packs are as effective. I totally disagree with the Dr and ordered this, it's well worth the money, time, and most importantly helping to control swelling.

this machine is so easy to use. just replace the frozen water bottles twice a day and add water if needed. set it to turn on for whatever time you need and the same for off time.

We purchased a polar 3.0 ice machine after my wife had her knee replacement surgery. it was a life saver.

It was an easy setup and stays very cold and constant and timer shuts off after 20 minutes

Exactly as described and works well.

This thing is great. Its like your knee is having a freezing river flowing over it.

Excellent product

I had to have an ankle replacement done and this machine was a great help in my recovery. Placing the pad underneath my knee with my foot elevated greatly reduced the swelling and pain. The unit has been operating for six weeks with mo problems. Much easier than having someone needing to remember to get you an icepack every hour.

I have used it for a day but not happy with it. The amount of water flows through the knee pad is not enough to cool down the knee. I returned it later.

Looses cold have to mess with hoses
