Polk Audio PA D2000.2 - Car - amplifier - 2-channel

I bought two of these from vminnov. for just over 100 bucks and am thinking about buying one more in case one dies. One runs my front speakers and the other my rear in my truc and these little amps are powerful, These little amps have never caused me an issue. One thing I dislike about them is the x10 buttons on the amp controls. I have a JL Audio 300/2 amp that i replaced with this little guy mainly because the JL is too big and I already have no space in my truck. I can't tell a difference in sound wth that am pversus this one and they claim the 300/2 is one of the best amps for sound quality. In fact, I am not sure why but I prefer the sound of the Polk amps. I love the way these amps have nice inputs for your speaker wire and power/ground/remote wires. At this price point, it's a must buy if you need a relatively high wattage 2 channel small amp for coaxial or component speakers, or perhaps one sub.

Just installed this to run front JBL components in my car. This is a really well-made amp, with its bare wire-accepting terminals for power/ground/remote and speaker outputs, sleek brushed chassis, and options for high/low/bandpass crossovers. Although it has a small footprint it has a solid feel and substantial weight to it. Even with smaller-gauge speaker wire attached (I do plan on upgrading to 12 ga soon) I noticed an immediate and substantial improvement in output, clarity, and dynamics, plus I have gobs of headroom in my system now. And the price? Well, I bought it for $59.99 just before it increased, so it's basically the deal of the century. Even at its current price it's a steal for such a well-made 250W RMS (4 ohm) amplifier. Very pleased so far!

I have put this amp to the test over the past month. Bridged at 4 ohm pushing two PR10's. Never overheats and while I have not officially tested, I think this amp is underrated.

Have this pushing a Kicker L7 that wants 750 RMS but this little guy does almost 600 (584 RMS on meter) so I am more than satisfied with this amp.

This amp is not designed to push subs or even a sub. Maybe door speakers. No sub
