Very bright and attractive color. Overall fit is good unlike some other NF coats which are oversized, the fit of this rain coat is just about right. Haven't used it for outdoor raining days yet. Will come back with further review when tried it for the water proof function.
Things to know about this rain jacket, there is no zipper but it has double flaps at the snap closure for preventative measures and the extra snap at the wrist is perfect. It fits well and I could layer a lightweight jacket underneath. I appreciate that it covers my butt & the hood doesn't fall into my face. I don't worry about not being seen but this color isn't electric, it's subtle but noticeable.
I love this jacket. It is very lightweight, but efficient. I can put a sweater underneath in the cold months, or wear it over during warmer weather. It is worth it. I would say that it runs true to side, but it does seem to be on the bigger size. I could've ordered a small instead of the medium I usually get. I'm 5'3" 145lbs.
This jacket is great! Kept me totally dry underneath in a downpour without an umbrella. Love the teal color. I usually always get a medium or a large in North Face coats and jackets. I do not like jackets that are fitted so I originally ordered a large and had to send it back for a medium. The large was waaaay to big. For reference I am 5'5", 135 pounds. I am extremely happy with the medium and it is definitely still enough room to be comfortable even with a sweatshirt underneath for added warmth. The inside is very comfortable when worn with a short sleeve T-shirt. I did not feel it was scratchy at all like another review I read. I feel like I am picky with not wanting clothing items to feel scratchy, no issues at all with this jacket. I don't understand at all why people would take off stars for this jacket not having a zipper when it is clear in the description that there is no zipper. If you are going to be disappointed that this jacket does not have a zipper, then buy another jacket. Read the description people. Enough said.
I need a raincoat primarily for walking around and casual use. This is a really pretty and comfortable raincoat. I love it! I am usually between a S and M and the small fit a little better. I also got the Isabella backpack in the same agave green and it works (I never do matchy matchy, but this just works!). I definitely recommend! One thing that I don't love is that it snaps up as opposed to zipper, but that doesn't bug me.
I love this raincoat! It's so roomy I was even able to put a down jacket under it, but the lining is soft enough that you can wear it with a t-shirt. The sleeves were long enough which never happens for me! It is a bit boxy so if you want a tighter fit you might want to size down, but I really liked how roomy it is because I could move around easily and it was quite comfortable. I normally wear XL or XXL and I got the XXL and was pleasantly surprised how big it is. The length is great too even though I'm pretty tall and the pockets are nice and big. It's functional enough to wear on a hike and stylish enough to wear in the city. I got the lime yellow and it is quite bright, definitely good for visibility at night and in the rain. I was a bit worried about it getting dirty because of the light color but it hasn't yet after a few uses in heavy rain. I love it. I've been looking for a raincoat like this for years and this one is great! The only thing that bothered me a bit is that the sleeves are quite wide even with the snap closure and when I was taking pictures, water went into my sleeve. But overall it's still a great coat and I would buy it again.
This is a great light weight rain jacket that has served me well on my walks to work. The only down side I can see is that it doesn't have a zipper closure. The snaps are just a little more cumbersome and slower to fasten if you're putting it on in a hurry. Outside of that minor complaint, it keeps me dry and I love the color and fit!
Love, love, love the color!!! It was the first choice when considering this purchase. Length was perfect for me (at 5.3" this jacket rests on my upper thigh which is what I wanted in a rain jacket). I loved that they created a button on the sleeve for a more snug fit on your wrist (pictured). Another pro about this product was its weight. However, the weight on this jacket is also a downside for me. The material is so light that it does not provide warmth on its own; for that I only gave this product 4 stars only. You would need to layer this with a sweater for those cold wet days. Other than that, I'm loving this jacket. TNF never disappoints!
I am 5'4" and weigh 110 lbs. The xs was too small for me to layer a sweater under. The s lets me layer but the fit is very boxy even though the length of the jacket and the sleeves are correct. I eventually kept the S because it was a good deal but now I am regretting it because the patagonia quandary jacket is on sale and that material is much nicer.
I had been looking for an army green rain coat for quite awhile and had high hopes for this one. Initially, it fits well and has room for modification with snaps at the wrist depending on how snug you want the sleeves to fit. The body of the coat fits well and is attractive. The fit is meant to be slightly baggy but in a stylish way. However, there is no zipper! So any closure is from snaps thus, I wonder about sealing out heavy rain. Also the interior body of the jacket is lined with a scratchy mesh which seems more at home on a much cheaper coat. Disappointed, this one went back.
