Pompeii 14k White Gold 1 1/2 Carat Diamond Round Solitaire Engagement Ring ((D),I(1))

After i ordered the 1.5 carat solitare diamond ring, i started to read all the reviews. The reviews were really bad, so i was worried that i got ripped off and that my 1600 dollars went down the drain. When the ring arrived, a week ago, it sparkled a lot. I was looking really hard to find black carbon inside the diamond and there was none. The diamond was totally white and it sparkles a lot to the point where its hard to get a good cell phone photo of it. Anyway, so far its a really good ring. Hopefully it will stay that way.

I already had a diamond engagement ring from Jared's (smaller and more expensive), but I got this 1.5 ct solitaire to replace it. I was worried I might be getting ripped off because the price was so great. However, I just received the ring and I absolutely love it. I've tried it in different lighting and it really sparkles. I took a picture, but the picture really doesn't do it justice. It's much prettier in person.

This was a very nice sparkly diamond, with no flaws. It is beautiful. I got it very quickly, and it really floored me. The only reason I sent it back was it didn't suit me. I ordered a different type of ring, but anyone looking for a beautiful diamond solitaire, at a great price, should see this one!!! It was a carat and 1/2 and big and beautiful!!!

When I received this ring I was not very please, I even contacted customer service to return the ring. I could see a cloudy, brownish inclusion inside and a lot of dots that looked like bubbles. I after a few emails and other ring suggestions from customer service I decided to take the ring to a jeweler. I went to a glen peters store for a diamond test and appraisal. The friendly sales rep did a quick cleaning of the ring before testing it. (It’s a real diamond btw). The cleaned diamond was so brilliant and beautiful. I couldn’t see the inclusion anymore after the cleaning, or any dots and I am so so happy that I didn’t return the ring. It’s gorgeous. It glitters so much I can’t keep my eyes off it. It’s a D diamond which is the clearest whitest color. I have a big shinny rock on my finger and I’m so in love with it!!

I love this ring, it’s big, it’s bold and it’s beautiful. The diamond it the whitest, I can see one inclusion, but I want expecting a perfect diamond, it is listed as an I(1), but it’s beautiful none the less. Flaws are accepted here and this ring is precious to me :)

I was shocked at the excellent pricing of this item. I had been searching for months online and been through the ringer with bad sales and uninformed sales and support personel. I was pleased with the setting but the gem was cloudy and just didn't have the sparkle I had seen on other rings I had ordered and returned. I read other reviews where they took the Pompeii diamond to a local jeweler for cleaning and it improved it drastically. I guess that's where I'm at now. Still a really great price for the item.
