PoolRx Algaecide Mineral Unit Pool Chemicals, Blue, 4 Pack

Perfect timing! Needed it for our grandson's pool business!

WORKS FANTASTIC!!

These little things surprised me at how well they work. I have known about the ability of silver and copper to kill algae for a long time, but these little baskets have made the administration of these metals to a new level of ease. Inside the basked is a cylinder that is coated in the metals. As the water dissolves them, you are left with a translucent cylinder, which is how I knew i could remove the basket. It apparently does not take a large amount to control pool growth. And they seem to work very well. I started with an out-of-control algae growth that other treatments didn't knock down well, at all. Since I tossed one of these in my skimmer basket for 2-3 days, running the pump 8 hours per day, I have had zero algae problems. Granted, I do use chlorine and shock, but there is no sign of algae under the ladders, etc., where I would often see tell-tale signs. I bought a box of 4 for the next 4 years after my first single. I have an above ground 36-foot round pool, so I probably added more copper silver than was prescribed, but I'm not going to complain. Part of my problem is I use my pool year-round: in the summer for personal use with family, and in the winter I chop the ice daily for a cold plunge after the sauna, so I am adding a ton of sweat-related materials, which I am certain contributes to algae growth, but I am confident these bring it under control.

100% Best Product to keep algae out and reduce chlorine use by 50%! GAME CHANGER!

This stuff gave me back my pool. I was trying all kinds of algae killing products and then found this. First day big change and kept getting better. My pool looks new again.

Product just as advertised.

One PoolRx every six months for sparkling clear water with no alge.

Real deal Poolrx

These really help to keep algae out of the pool. Walmart price was as good as anyone's. Don't need to assume Amazon has best price...they didn't.
