Looks cheap. It's floppy. Works GREAT. No oil, the popcorn turns out great, though it takes a couple uses to get the amount of kernels right, and waiting for the last few to slowly pop can result in slightly burned edges. Follow the instructions to stop when there's 2 seconds (or 3) of no popping. '
Great popper for microwave! Collapses so doesn't take up too much space when stored. There are always kernels left after the first round of popping, but then when I put the popped kernels into another bowl, I put the unpopped ones back in the microwave and they all come out popped.
I had my eye on this item for a while and finally got it and it didn't disappoint. I prefer popping my own kernels as opposed to microwave popcorn so this item will get used on a regular
This item is incredibly easy to use compared to electrical popcorn poppers. you can place in it the type of popcorn that you prefer instead of what might come sealed up in a microwavable bag.It is super easy to clean, AND it takes up very little storage space and is easy to store!
If I had realized it was just a bowl that you put in the microwave, I probably wouldn't have bought it. But I am so glad I did! It works so well and most of the time every single kernel gets popped without any burning! I put kernels in to about the first circle in the bottom of the bowl and it works magically.
does a great job an storage great
so convenient. easy to use and clean. perfect for a quick snack.
Purchased this because I enjoy popcorn, but dislike the oil-coated preportioned bags - they're messy, and the taste is kind of meh. So I tried this popcorn maker and really enjoy it because the popcorn is much healthier (no oil needed!), crispy, and you can season it exactly the way you want. The only downside I experienced was that kernels at the very bottom don't necessarily pop. You could keep microwaving the whole bowl, but then you'd end up with burnt popcorn. But the number of unpopped kernels didn't exceed the number I usually have from bagged popcorn, so no loss there. The container is also super easy to clean, especially because there's no oil used. Overall, a big win over the traditional approach.
The quality of the silicone is good and the bowl is a generous size. The "lid" sits inside the bowl though and rises as the popcorn pops. I have a couple other of these from other manufacturers and the lid is placed on top, which I like better.
too hard to clean and store and seems very greasy even after going through the dishwasher
