I bought it as a gift for my nephew, and it definitely live up it's hype. He absolutely love it and had a great time playing. The story was engaging, and I like it includes all three chapters. My nephew liked going against the bosses. The scenery was unique. Overall its a great game.
My kids are fans of this series of games. This cartridge includes the first three chapters of the Poppy Playtime saga. I think the cartridge modality makes sense in that it gives kids the ability to pass it from one switch to another without needing to do the virtual lending out system Nintendo has implemented.
I bought this for my horror-loving 8- and 9-year-olds, and they love it so much. The scenery is spooky, the story is scary, the game is exciting and fun for them. This is much better than the tablet app version - easier to see and simple to control. Definitely recommended.
This was for my 11-year-old who loves Rainbow Friends, Bendy and the Ink Machine, and Five Nights at Freddy's. Poppy Playtime merchandise in stores used to freak him out but he finally decided he was ready to give it a try. He enjoys the game. Even though it is made to look scary, he didn't actually find it scary at all, and there wasn't anything in it that I found to be too inappropriate for a video game at his age. He first tried getting it through STEAM, but it ended up not being able to load due to insufficient available space. The Steam version has 4 chapters, while this Switch version only has 3, but that was the only disappointment. Switch was a lot more convenient than trying to download online. We got it on a Cyber Monday sale and I found it worth that price, but probably wouldn't pay full price. He is having fun with it now, but I don't think it is the type of game that will still have his interest in another few months.
I bought this as a christmas gift for my son. He was very happy that this game included all three games. The graphics are great and the price we paid was fair. Great for kids nine and up, some mild jump scares but nothing too scary. Highly recommend.
My 6 year old autistic/ADHD son's special interest is video games. He plays these games on Roblox all the time on his tablet. When I saw they had the three game set for Nintendo Switch I immediately knew he needed it. The way his eyes lit up on Christmas morning when he opened this game is a moment I won't forget. It was the first game he wanted to play too. The graphics were honestly great on the switch and the controls were so much easier to use on the Nintendo vs his tablet.
I bought Poppy Playtime Triple Pack for my 11 year old son and he was so excited Christmas morning. He has been looking for this game forever and we found a great deal online at Walmart. He loves that all three levels are different difficulties. They get harder the higher the level. The graphics are great and the storyline is fun. My younger son can't wait to get his hands on this game.
The Poppy Playtime Triple Pack brings the first 3 chapters of this jump-scare, creepy toy, puzzle-heavy horror series to the Nintendo Switch in one cartridge. The physical Triple Pack game is also available on the Xbox X/Xbox One and PS5. One thing to note is that Chapter 1 is significantly shorter and feels more introductory than the subsequent 2 chapters. More experienced players will complete Chapter 1 surprisingly quickly making it almost feel like a very polished demo rather than a full game. BUT, for less experienced players, this isn't necessarily a problem — it's a tight, well-paced introduction to the world and prepares them a bit — but seasoned gamers looking for a more complex, longer scare might feel a bit short-changed with Chapter 1 since it feels more like a game demo/intro because of its simplicity and short length. We have this game in both the Xbox X and Nintendo Switch versions and the Nintendo Switch version does a solid job given the platform: it's visually clear and portable without major hiccups for the most part and only minor glitches that don't ultimately interfere much with gameplay. If you like light horror and episodic storytelling games or are playing with/buying for a younger audience, the Poppy Playtime Triple Pack is a fun gaming bundle that conveniently has all of the first 3 chapters in one cartridge. Just go in knowing that Chapter 1 plays more like a short intro — closer to a demo than a full standalone game — and the more developed gaming content in this pack really comes with the later two chapters. Overall, it's a worthwhile pick for fans of the series or kids/adults who enjoy lighter horror with puzzles and exploration on the Nintendo Switch. Plus there is fun merchandise readily available online that kids go crazy for and the price point on this franchise is very affordable. We own both the Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy stuffies. This game cartridge/disc can also periodically be found included in great seasonal sales making it especially worth a try.
I only disliked that i purchased this item at an advertised sale price and my order was canceled with no explanation as to why. The same day my oder was cancelled I was able to purchase this item at full price. So my unhappiness is towards Walmart specifically not this item.
My grandson wanted it as a birthday gift. He said that it's scary but very fun. On the 3 rd game he says that the graphics are very dark and it makes it hard to see how to get out of the closing walls. He seems to really like it. The price wasn't bad and it was available when I needed it. So I think the value is worth the price.
