PopSockets Car Vent Phone Mount Compatible with MagSafe, V2 – Black

I used this on the wall of a completely dry shower room. For about a week, it worked perfectly and I was very happy with it. Then one day, it suddenly fell off the wall. It seems like the adhesive or suction surface simply couldn't handle the weight of my phone over time. I originally bought this because I expected the wall side to attach magnetically as well, but it actually uses a reusable adhesive/silicone-like surface that sticks to the wall. If you plan to use this, I would strongly recommend either using an extremely lightweight phone or mounting it low enough that a fall won't cause any damage. Hopefully this helps someone avoid the same unfortunate experience I had.

I used this on a flat, clean mirror and it does not retain suction - I'm luck I had my phone in a case because it's fallen every time I've used it. I set it up per the instructions-it isn't complex. Clean mirror, pressed very firmly, and twisted until significant resistance was met. I even tested much harder pressure on the mount and twisted more or less. No luck it just falls off after a short time.

This is the easiest way to keep my phone close in my car. This design is perfect. It's not too heavy that it falls off the vent and it holds my phone with no issues

This is a great car mount. The only reason I did one star off is for the connector to be a little tighter as it slips off my vent if I am not careful. I have to carefully pull my phone off.

Does what it's supposed to do and looks cute. Happy with this. . used to have mounts for the vents - but those sucked. . this one sucks because it's supposed to. . ;)

Overall I like this product. Versatility etc. however I had one at work and move it around. Over time the suction cup broke off from the bottom. Noticed the piece that holds it together is pretty small. Still wanted another one though

The mount is high quality, firm, and keeps the shape even when hanged. I tried to place it on edges and places that you wouldn't normally tripod, and it handled the task 100% of the times. Useful on a desk and in the wild.

I suspect it's ability might shine if I had something to wrap it around but as a basic stand it is virtually useless for any phone I have tried with it. I tried a s26 ultra and a flip 7 and I need to adjust too much. Better off with a basic phone stand for most things.

Love how well it stays put in my vent but do not love that I don't have a great vent in my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder for the mount. The vent to the right of my steering wheel is where I want to mount my phone but the vent and instrument panel is covered by the hooded dashboard. I tried the vent mount on the left near the window but the phone screen reflects off the side window at night and is impossible to read. It's a no-win situation.

It does what it needs to most times. I didn't pay much, but I could've also went without it. . . Beautiful color, durable product. I feel like I can't get it at the perfect angle when on a flat surface because it tilts over. Wrapping on a surface usually works great.
