PopSockets Grip: Black

This smartphone accessory is awesome! It redefines the way you hold your phone. Eliminates selfie blurs. Easy in and out of pocket. Anyone who complains about a Popsocket not adhering or they detach within days of installing them are attempting to use them on a surface not recommended by the manufacturer. You cannot remove a properly installed Popsocket anchor disk from a surface without the assistance of pliers and generous heat from a blow dryer to soften the adhesive. It is strong. Before you buy a Popsocket, test the surface you want to apply it to with duct tape. If the duct tape really grips the surface well and requires effort to remove, that surface will be perfect for a Popsocket. If the duct tape requires alot of rubbing to get it to stick to surface or it hardly grips at all and lifts off easily, don't apply a Popsocket to that surface. This test is a foolproof way to test any surface you want to apply a Popsocket product to.

It's great for holding the phone for a long period of time or using it as a stand. I liked it so much I bought one for my daughter.

The package arrived in a convenient small envelope which was nice. The product itself was intact and is quite useful. Good buy :)

Love my Popsocket mount! I have it on my dash in the perfect spot. It holds the phone well and I don't have any issues putting the phone on it. It's extremely sturdy and durable. Looking forward to upgrading to the new version so I can use it with other types of PopSockets.

I actually thought this is one of those silly gadgets that I would just purchase it never use but I used on a daily basis because my phone fits perfectly into it with the pop socket. Especially if your phone doesn't have Bluetooth you can turn the speaker on on your phone and use it hands-free. I've got several days and they're great

These are great for putting in your car and placing it at a more convenient location. The clip is secure but can easily be removed, just takes a certain maneuver. Downside is that certain types of popsockets are too big, like gemstone or lipgloss types. My popsocket is a regular flat one so I have no issues.

I love the idea behind these. Its so much more convenient, no more dropping your phone, and everything is accessible with only using 1 hand. However, the adhesive never holds up. Ive bought several pop sockets and in just a few weeks it starts lifting. Im not rough with my devices, not sure how i could make it last longer. I wont buy another one though. Maybe they arent supposed to work with phonecases, but i choose protection over convenience when it comes to these devices.

This is the third popsocket I have bought over the last couple of years. I loved the first two and only had to replace them after the top disc popped off and was lost. I don't know what Popsocket has changed other than the color of the packaging since I bought my last one. The first two that I purchased were in a package with a black background. The one I bought a few days ago was in a package with a white background. This last one I bought is absolutely horrible. It would not adhere right out of the package. I tried everything I could think of to get this thing to adhere to my case that had just had a Popsocket on it. I know it's not my case so it has to be something has changed with the product or I got a complete dud. I ended up using gorilla glue to adhere the Popsocket to my phone case. I have found the Popsocket in the black background packaging at another store so I will purchase that one to see if it will work like the last two worked fine. If the one in the black background package doesn't work then I have bought my last Popsocket. It's a great product when you get one that works properly. I would suggest if you purchase this item to keep your receipt and package to make sure it works.
