PopSockets: PopGrip SOG Multi-Tool - Cyan

Handy little phone handle. It is larger than the standard pop socket head and if you use the branded pop socket mounts it will not fit. Without modification. The tool is handy. It's a decent box opener and is held in place securely by the magnet in the socket. I use a "horseshoe" shaped mount in my vehicles and it works fine with those but the head is at least 1/4" larger diameter than the normal pop socket.

Personally, I got it for the tool not the grip and my experience of using it has reflected that. There is nothing wrong with any piece of this product and like my first edc knife, I use it even more than I imagined I would. My only complaint is that the grip regularly catches on my pants and makes it difficult to pull my phone in and out of my pocket, I only have this problem because I was never really looking for a popgrip anyway. I use it and it's worth having but I'm considering taking off the grip and just gluing the magnetic track that holds the tool onto the back of my phone.

I would give this a 5 star review but my only complaint is that should one drop their phone, which is something I do often, is that the metal multi-tool will fly off and then the search begins to find where it has scooted off to. Otherwise I love the product.

I like everything about it except the ease in which it falls out if you drop your phone. This is my second one as I had to replace my previous one due to dropping my phone at the grocery store. The SOG came out and slide under a non-moveable display cabinet. I have no other issues with this pop socket I like having it on my phone instead of having the SOG on a keychain.

Great idea. The problem with this Pop Grip Multi Tool is it will not stay in place. Mine MT disappeared. I found it several times but several times was not enough. I will not replace it and risk loosing it again.

I loved the idea of the SOG multi-tool PopGrip and it looked great. Unfortunately it was too big and heavy. It stuck out further than my normal PopSocket and was awkward to carry in my front pocket. I also noticed that it made my phone very heavy when trying to hold it.

I like the design of the actual tool but the adhesive is worthless...I wound up throwing it out. Wouldn't recommend

Hello. I REALLY wanted to like this product. A cool, unique idea. Unfortunately it really doesn't work. Not sharp enough to open a package. Screw would need to be a perfect (odd) size for the screwdriver to be effective. haven't tried using it as a scraper. Bottle opener works, but a bit of a struggle (even that had a bit of a flaw in the stamping process. I did give it a couple stars for the ability to play with the magnet.

i love the way this little guy looks on my phone, and feels in my hand, but I am so worried that I am going to lose it forever. When I put my phone in my pocket, or the side of my backpack with the popsocket pressed in, it must press in further (and causes it to unlock). Maybe this is due to the squishiness of it. . because it is always falling off. This never happened with either of the other two popsockets I've had before.

I cannot give a good review as after one month of possession and accompanying me on a trip to Disneyland, the PopGrip with the multi-tool fell off of my phone and PopSocket. The day it happened I visited many different places (gas station, bowling center, store) so I have considered it a total loss. Since I have no recourse, I am sending what is left over (the PopSocket base, packaging) for recycling.
