It was AMAZING! our SHOPPER picked out our favorite kind of Thick cut center pork chops. I am a cancer patient who, can no longer shop for myself and my husband doesn't leave me home alone, because I have brain tumors, pancreas, %26 Kidney cancer, eye tumors and tend to faint quite a lot… . So he and I joined Walmart and are thoroughly grateful for their help. They always pick out the best food. We put a bit of SWEET HEAT pork Rub on the pork chops and we also ordered baby carrots, baby potatoes, %26 asparagus. My husband seasoned everything %26 put all the veggies in our convection over for around an hour %26 a half first, (covered so everything got cooked to fork tender) then we added the pork chops to the oven on a grill pan til internal temp was 145 degrees Fahrenheit… Then removed everything from oven… added Kinders Sweet Heat BBQ sauce to pork chops. Let them rest for a few minutes and we were so happy…it was the best meal we have cooked in a long long time. Thank You so much to everyone at Walmart who helped us. I highly recommend them….
I don't eat much pork anymore but my family does and these have always been consistently tender juicy with a good fat to meat ratio to keep them tender and not dry almost always fall off the boone goodness always buy center cut with bone always a better taste and moisture over boneless offering
The only problem I have with this is the cost for the quantity. My big issue isn’t so much with product as service. I pick up what your employees. Not once have I recieved all my order. There’s always something they don’t have… I actually went shopping next day, this last time, to see if indeed it wasn’t there. It was all there… Some items they have to look for and everybody knows kids cant find anything without mom’s assistance.
I do NOT like that somewhere along the way, pork chops started getting cut super thin if you wanted thin cut and then "normal" sized ones got thicker than they used to be. We prefer ours 1/4 inch thinner that "normal" and not paper thin. The thin ones are too thin, the normal ones are too thick.
The only reason I gave these 4 stars is actually my own fault. I was so surprised when I took them out of the package! They were thick and fresh and smelled so good! The problem was the way I cooked them. I put them in the oven and it made them a little tough. Not so I wouldn't eat them! But just a little chewy. These pork chops are so good, I would recommend them to anyone who loves pork.
I used to love these but Walmart needs to sharpen their blades I’m finding an awful lot of bone fragments so make sure you rinse well before you prepare. The flavor is pretty good and the cut is usually consistent. These are part of our weekly rotation
I was expecting a thinner cut of pork chop and these were super thick. I marinaded them in milk overnight to tenderize, but they were still pretty tough. The flavor was great as well as the quality, but just prefer a thinner cut of chop. The label on the online shopping ad did not indicate thick cut as it should. I will be more careful when ordering next time. i don't fell lime I wasted money, but didn't get the cit I wanted.
My center cut pork loin chops were packaged and sold as center cut pork loin chops bone in . The only full view porkchop had the price sticker over the tenderloin of the chop. When I opened the pkg all the chops looked like the loin had been gouged out with a rounded type tool. There was no loin but I paid for that higher cut of meat! I expect to get what I paid for….
The reason for giving a negative review is because I did not receive center cut pork loin chops. The person who is picking out my groceries was Hispanic and maybe he did not know what the difference was. What I received was an assortment of pork chops and not what I had ordered. I have already cooked one and it was awful.
