This is my first time trying this cut, cooking and eating. I was a little worried because my husband doesn't like pork chops or pork in general but this was such a hit! I cooked these in my instant pot and they came out delicious and super tender! highly recommend
Folks, as pictured it would get a 5 from me. That is how I used to receive these thin boneless pork chops. They were great. HOWEVER, the last two times I've purchased based on the above picture, I did not receive what I picked. The chops looked nothing like the picture. They were all fatty and of various shapes. The picture is not what you get anymore. Won't buy again.
I really liked how the texture was old and the taste was stale. It did not absorb my chosen spice rubs or marinades, and it was stale. I was not satisfied by the portion size and protein content for my needs. I paid more than what it weighed.
In addition to to much fat, there is an excess amount of gristle. The meat had a background flavor (as though from a wild caught animal). I took all the precautions: 1; Trimmed portions of the fat and gristle off. 2. Soaked the meat in milk for several hours. 3. Applied meat tenderizer, and standard spices. 4. Coated with Tempura batter. 5. Pan fried in oil. I put a bite in my mouth, made one or two attempts at chewing, then spit it on to the plate. Did this for a few minutes and then gave up. This is a no repeat buy for me.
I had ordered these nice perfect sized little pork chops several times before. These were something I would never pick out if I had chose. Full of fat, not eye appealing because of the fat. Price outrageous per pound. Waste—-Had to cut away the fat, as this is not a healthy fat. What happened? Afraid to try ordering again. Walmart usually has done great with this us why I ordered
That picture you have on your website is false and extremely misleading. The package I received has more fat than meat. I'm not feeding this to my family. This is what happens when you get a shopper who's either in a hurry or more worried about completing the order instead of shopping as if they were doing it for their own family.
these are not the pork chops i order, what Walmart has given me look pretty bad,, full of fat,,im not sure what to do with these besides msybe make some pork fried rice , but anyways loos like a bad batch of pork shoulder butt or whatever..butbhad to been the very last pack of chops there, i wouldn't evan sood these n dont something eles with them to make them sale able,,but ot is what is is ill be more specific nect order
All fat. No meat. Waste of money. Item I received was nothing near the item pictured when ordering. I don't mind a bit of fat but what I got looked like "fat steaks " instead of "pork steaks "
This is NOT the right photo. The right ones are very thin w fat in between the pork. They really had no taste and are way too thin w fat in between the pork.
I didn't ask for pork I asked for steak and this is what you sent me wrong answer I can't have pork , That's why I asked for STEAK , NOW I HAVE TO GIVE AWAY
