I’m not a person who enjoys cooking as a hobby or source of creative expression. I’ve known people like that but it’s never been my thing. I’m looking for taste and ease and expediency in cooking a meal easily and quickly, yet tasty and nourishing. I’ve used my microwave or electronic appliances for years as opposed to the stove. I only buy boneless meat, it’s more convenient and versatile, and in the end cost effective. These aren’t cut like the country style used to be, they were more like the bone in in size yet boneless. I usually pressure cook them so they are always tender and when done mix a sauce to put on them to caramelize in the oven or under a broiler for a few minutes to finish them up. Fork tender every time. Wish they came in larger packages.
Beautiful meat! Hardly any fat, which is what I like. I like my meat to be lean, with just enough fat to help it cook. I like saving the fat for stuff like potato salad:) I used a can of coke to cook them in the oven and spices, it was so tender I couldn't believe how good they turned out!
I make a Croatian dish called golden mushroom with Campbell's golden mushroom soup and this and some other stuff and it's so good. the meat is tender in the crockpot and no bones is always a plus. it comes out good every time and the cuts of meat I get are always good
I don’t know who picks out the products but these ribs normally are very tasty especially if you put them in a crockpot. But this time as normal I buy two one came out of beautiful and one is just a slab of fat. I don’t know how the person did not notice so if you’re going to get them yourself, you’ll have better luck.
These are great for an easy weekend meal. i put them in the crockpot on low for about 4 to 6 hours with a little bit of vegatable broth about 1 cup. about 30 minutes before we are ready to eat, i take them out after basting them in BBQ sauce. I toss them on the grill ,flip and add more sauce, until sauce is carmelized.
i prefer these country ribs. salt and pepper them then parboil them in pinapple juice until cooked through. remove from heat and allow meat to rest. arrange on a cookie sheet. Brush with your favorite BBQ sauce an cook in oven until edges char a bit. yum
I buy these often and have hopes every time they will be tender but they never are. Ive cooked them a variety of ways to get them as tender as possible and they still temain tough yet flavorful. Maybe its the cut of meat. Either way, they taste good and you get a lot of meat for the price so its not a bad deal. If youre looking for melt in your mouth ribs, these arent it.
ok, I;ve done the homework to cook these rib so they come out tender and moist but they come out dry and tough. I suspect they have been on the shelf for entirely too long and the juice has leached out. I"ve tried braising, shortened time lower oven temp and still they come out dry.
i have ordered the pork ribs my last 3 orders, they claim they are out. so the last time (couple days ago) still out of them. i get in my car after delivery, i drive to said WalMart, there were plenty of these ribs. Walmart needs to get new shoppers, most are not very deligent or just don't care. The ribs are not the only incident as such. Please check your shoppers !!
Why did I get charged more than what is on the package. I got charged an extra $3. I was charged over $7. But when I got my order from delivery it says it was only $4 and some change. You over charged me. There was already a lawsuit with Walmart over charging for the weighted meat but because I order for delivery I didn't qualify .
