I have purchased this meat item two times. Each time they turned out tender and very flavorful. The first ones were seared using a cast skillet and once browned finished up in the oven. The flavor was unbelievable. The second time I used the dredge method by using flour first then dredged on eggs and finished using panko. The crunch was so delicious. The key is to not overcook and allow 10 minutes before cutting into them so the juices redistribute giving you a tender and crunchy pork chop!
In electric skillet with lid, add a couple Tbls vegetable oil to heat up. Add salted and peppered pork chops to quickly brown on each side. Then, add mixture of one lg can of cream of chicken soup, 1/2 c ketchup and 2 Tbls Worchestershire sauce over and around pork chops. Place lid on and cook 30 mins or until thermometer reads at least 160 degrees. Serve over white rice. The sauce is a family favorite of all of my adult siblings since this is a regular dinner our mother would make for us.
If you like pork chops, give these a try. Like beef ribeye, these have swirls of fat that run through them which makes the pork juicier and more tender. If you can't find these ribeye chops, buy a pork ribeye roast and cut it in pieces. You will save and still get the same great chops. Yummy.
We love these rib eye chops---They're GREAT in a slow cooker--I don't understand at all some of the negative reviews---these are product reviews---NOT a review on what ever lousy store you live close too---the Walmart I live close too %26 deal with is perfect in every way---just like these chops...PERFECT!
These are smaller, so they cook quickly but keep their moisture when done right. I cook them on the grill but could also see them working well on the stove or even in the crock pot this winter. They are a good substitution if you don't want the larger, bone in chops. I think they are juicier than the boneless butterfly option.
I don't know why Walmart meats get such low quality marks with other reviewers. i have been getting home delivery for several years and can count on one hand the number of times (3)that I had a problem and those were just wrong. The meat was fres, a nice healthy pink color, with just enough fat to flavor the meat while cooking. i got the family size, using part of the order in the crockpot for carnitas burritos. the remaining few were sauteed with sauerkraut and potatoes.
You cannot go wrong with great value pork products. I pound these out and bread and fry them with great results. They have enouhg flavor to make a great pan gravy after cooking as well. They also cook up well in an Air fryer coated with panko bread crumbsand your favorite seasoning blend for a little less fat. These boneless pork chops provides substantial protein for all. And I really enjoy them.
pretty decent chops for Walmart meat section. I do recommend picking them out in store as the shoppers are just grabbing whatever. but they do often have good packs with enough to feed my family of 6. less trimming needed on these than most cuts they have.
It would be great if when the shoppers were picking up the food, they picked up food that didn't have an expiration date of the next day. I understand that the store wants to get rid of the oldest first, but personally, I would like something that doesn't expire the next day. Eggs always have 2-3 broken in the carton.
I work at Walmart and actually do online grocery picking myself so I know how this process should go. Apparently, some people don’t. I received my order today (the 29th), and the meat was dated 10/28. WOW, so fresh, right? 🤨😏😒🤦♀️ I take pride in making sure customers get quality products, but clearly not everyone cares as much. Honestly, this is just disappointing and lazy.
