I was lucky. These were outstanding that is rarely the case anymore with Walmart. I usually end up getting a refund for at least 20% of my order because Spark has somehow managed to screw it up. They don't know green onions from leeks, Much less neck bones from ribs 😄 does anyone even train them?
Browned them up, right after they arrived. ; ) Froze two thirds of the cooked package, use the rest in Dinner(Sunday Sauce). They soften and mellowed in the sauce(remove about3-4oz. of meat and added to the sauce. Very Flavorful Meat( I didn't add anything to them, just browned in Walmart House Brand Canola Oil (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Great-Value-Canola-Oil-48-fl-oz/10450988?classType=VARIANT%26athbdg=L1100%26from=/search). Will for sure, try again. : ) So, YES, I would recommend this product.
I have gotten this product repeatedly and each time I'm impressed with the neckbones. There's plenty in the package and the meat is juicy. I cook them in the slow cooker so the meat literally falls off the bone! With prices sky high now it's nice to be able to afford pork without breaking your budget. Throw them and some red beans in the slow cooker and serve over rice! A simple, affordable meal.
Purchased for my dogs for the bones. I purchase bones with marrow for my dogs since they benefit from but the bones I couldn't use because the way they were cut left all of them with multiple sharp bone edges. The best I've found is 6 frozen bones with marrow maybe a little meat cut in approximately 3 inches for around $10. Maybe check into selling bones from your meat department for animals. Not only are we trying to have a more nutritious diet for ourselves but you miss out on the customers also doing this for their "fur babies".
so I literally cook for our dog Charlie! and first I cook the meat with bones ,yes the broth is very good for him! than I ad , after separating the bones I ad veggies sometimes potatoes no skin and than other times rice only white rice! so the price is amazing
I love me some neckbones. Just clean all the fat and stuff off of them, season them up real good, put just enough water to cover them and then put them in a pressure cooker and save a lot of time. In one hour they will be done. Nice and tender! Enjoy!
You get what you pay for so sorry garbage can you put a bag in in an tight put trash in have to push trash all the way down and bag pop down and you have to put bag back in just trash the top that goes on you got to pull trash can out so when you push swing top to put garbage in top hit the wall so poor Quality
I have NEVER seen Pork neck bones like these!!! I don't know what animal lost their life for these but they look like it may have been a dinosaur!! An OLD one at that, as the ends of the bones were GREY!!! They went right into the Garbage Can! How disgusting!!!! And it does not say much for the Shopper!!! Please do not let Spanish persons shop for me !!!
This is trashy. It stinks!!!! . I've never purchased anything from any store that was only good for dog food. I have bought pork bones for many years. I'm 82 years old so that should tell you approximately how much I've bought !!!!!……I think I should have a refund since it's not eatable.
This time, I rec'd mostly "scraps" of fatty meat bits, along with a few large bones. I have ordered this in the past and rec'd a decent product. The quality of the item I rec'd this time are adding to my disappointment with Wal-Mart's services as of late. 😕
