The only thing I don’t like is that when I order it I never know if it’s available or not so I could choose something else and every time I’ve been ordering it. It’s usually out of stock so I would like somebody to let me know that it’s not gonna be available so I won’t order it
This pork to me is am quantity to cook half and freeze half. It marinates well with some seasonings in the baggie when freezing it or to put liquid marinade on it in a baggie overnight it retains the flavor well. It doesn’t usually have an excessive amount of fat or gristle or bone and I am pleased with this purchase. It’s each week. It is very versatile
Oh my God I use these for so many meals. I use them for sesame pork when I'm making Chinese style. I use them for perfect for pork stew. I mean you can use them so many ways fried pork bites perfect size perfect flavor. I love I buy them every order that I get from Walmart.
i use pork cubes to add to my spagetti sauce. This package is labeled pork stew meat and has just enough fat to provide great flavor. i add the pork pieces raw into my sauce and then cook on low heat for 4-5 hours. The pork cooks and is fall apart tender. Delicious flavor is added into the sauce %26 gives you a nice meaty sauce along with the ground chuck i brown beforehand. i'm impressed with the fresh quality of this pork and will purchase again, using for chinese style pork dishes. Very versatile meat, good price, no fat waste.
I just wanted to reach out with a comment about my grocery delivery experience...The driver and associate were very nice and helpful...They apologized about half of our groceries were not bagged appropriately because the shopper didn't bag them...They also said that the shopper was rude to them and gave them an additude...whomever the shopper was I commend them for putting my order together but not for the packaging of my order as for slot of it was not in bags like meat and produce...Also, the shopper employee needs to learn about workplace etiquette and being polite to fellow employees makes for a nicer atmosphere to work at...should be working with each other not against each other... 😉
I use pork stew meat in place of beef stew meat because I don't care for beef stew meat for me it has no taste or flavor. the pork stew meat is perfect for many different types of meals. from soups and stews to making tacos and enchiladas and I cooked the beef stew meat season it and use the Frozen chopped onion put it in a food processor and make pork barbecue sandwiches😋🤤
Pork stew meat: I buy this to make pork chili verde. Saves time. Tastes good, tinder and if a chunk or two is a little large I cut it in half. The 1-2 pound pack is enough to feed 3 of us for tacos or a burrito along with refried beans. Larger pack if you want leftovers or larger family.
Since covid beef became too expensive, besides eggs (which also became more expensive) and peanut butter, it is a good protein alternative. I make a stew with this meat and it is always really good. I also use 2 packets of seasoning in this stew, 1 brown gravy packet and one beef stew seasoning packet. MAKE SURE THE MEAT IS THOROUGHLY COOKED. YOU CAN PRE-FRY THE MEAT, BROWNING IT, CREATING A NICE TEXTURE AS AN ADDED BONUS. YOU CAN BROWN IT USING OIL AND SOME SOY SAUCE AND EVEN CARAMILIZE SOME ONOINS THAT ALSO CAN BE ADDED TO THE STEW.
I'm so disappointed as this meat was so awful. It is a waste of money. I have been ordering pork stew meat for months and it seems to be getting progressively worse. This stew meat has chunks is fat, tissue running through the meat and looks torn rather than cut. Truthfully, this porks looks like leftovers from pork chops. I ordered nice stew meat chunks, however that's not what I received. I don't think the shopper looked at the meat, just grabbed a package. I've been having problems with quality in the meat dept lately. Meat is way too expensive and I've lost faith in the quality of Walmarts meat.
The delivery arrived and I wanted to cook up the pork stew pieces. first off I noticed a smell the meat was a little stinky. I ignored it, rewashed the pork. dampened down the meat of excess water. I'm cooking the meat on low heat. the "smell" was stronger! I don't know what to do? I don't think I should add this meat to anything but a trash bin.?? I wouldn't recommend online purchase of this meat. this is just my opinion. Walmart get rid of these meats. take them off the shelf. you alienated me. I won't update my membership here on out. there's no value in membership with you folks. you lose my vote of confidence. ...and don't say you have your members and shoppers when putting out rotting food.
