This the best little grinder $16 will buy. Perfect for that one cup of pour over—yet the capacity would make two if desired. Perfect for camping or travel. (Yes, I make pour over in my hotel room having packed the filter basket, filters and coffee in a zip bag! All I need one perfect cup in the morning and I'm good! Takes a bit of elbow grease, but hand it over to your bored 7 year old and you are good to go. Quality of burr mechanism and component quality is surprisingly good and this puppy has 5 grind size adjustments with a twist of the wrist. Mighty mini grinder!

First time having a manual grinder. Had to purchase one for my espresso machines. The grinders at the store were not grinding it fine enough. This is perfect! It grinds it exactly how I need it. Perfect espressos :)

the first thing I did when I recieved it was hand gring coffee. it was a pleasure. works great . cleans easily.

I love it! The first time I used it I used step 3 out of the five available steps (you have to grab the upper and lower parts in either hand and twist) and it took way too long, but I learned that for my French press setting it at 5:00 was the perfect grind and the thing went a lot faster you can stuff it with beans and turn it into enough to French press some great coffee in a minute or so just twisting her up with your hands

It works. Handle doesn't really attach, it's a strange design, but it works OK. Easy to change grind, fill, clean. I'd recommend it.

The biggest draw back is the grinder mechanism that connects to the shaft inside the unit is hard plastic--I'm sure you know where I'm going with this... It seems that it will wear out very fast. I plan to take it back for a refund. They designed a good unit then skimped on the gringer handle.

Plastic grinder mechanism makes this item less durable. Only part of the outside housing and the post are made from metal.

This grinder has difficulty in grinding beans on any but the most coarse setting, 5. Regardless of what setting you choose, the setting will shift as you use the handle to turn. I found that the only way to really use this grinder was to initially grind the beans on 5, then regrind them on another setting to get the desired result. I purchased this to grind some coffee beans given to me as a gift, but won't likely ever have need for it again once that bag is gone. Does work, but wouldn't purchase again.
