PORTER CABLE 20-Volt Max 4.0-Amp Lithium-Ion Battery, PCC685L

I ordered 2 of these from an online eretailer. I would've bought them locally, but, the online price is about half what I would've paid locally, and yes, they ARE genuine Porter Cable batteries. I ordered them for my 761B grinder, but, I'll also use them with my 6 1/2" circular saw (can't remember the # because it's not in my hand right now). These batteries are pretty much required for tools like these. The grinder and saw will eat smaller ones in under 10 mins. Anyway, I charged one of these, then, used my grinder, with a cut off disc, to make A LOT of rough cuts in 1/8" steel diamond plate for a flat bed project. After making about 50 cuts, the battery that I'd charged still had enough juice to clean up the edges for welding. The shortest cuts were about 4"x4", the longest were 6' long and 2' wide. I figured that I'd have to bring out my corded grinder at some point, but, I never did. I considered "aftermarket" batteries, but, I'm glad that I stuck with genuine Porter Cable instead.

I used the battery mainly for my Porter Cable flashlight and it works perfect.

Love these batteries I've purchased several they can take a beating and keep on kicking i use them for 8-10 hours a day 5-6 days a weeks

These batteries are a huge improvement over the 2Ah ones. Greatly extended run time on my circular saw , sander and drivers. Don't waste time buying the little batteries or any from the knockoff vendors. These charge fast and work well.

This was the best price that I could find for the factory 4.0a large battery and free shipping. It charged up well, l I have not used it yet but I'm sure that it will work as well as the past P.C. batteries.

I have stood behind Porter Cable for years I have used the same tools I started with plus some. This battery is a must have for their grinder and heavier tools. Only lasts a year though second battery, second year. I will keep my set but I'm looking at other brands for my 4ah requirements.

Total rip off, never buy from this guy again!!

I use daily in my business and was happy with the performance for about a month until the battery simply stopped working altogether.
