This piece of equipment is great, works wonderful with non name brand batteries. Just wish it came with blades.

Although this great little tool cuts thru so many things and can help with so many projects, we wanted ours for one purpose only! We have Oleander bushes in back of our home and they grow up to the home every year. They are well over 15 years old so some of the limbs are a pretty good size. Too large for a branch clipper. The reciprocating Saw went thru the large limbs like butter! Barely any effort was required for the task. I know this isnt the reason most get a saw like this but it's perfect for us. When using on branches just make sure you clean the blade afterwards and the blade will last a long time.

I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program. My husband was so excited. Even though we had to get a battery. This is a great saw. Comfortable to hold and gets the job done. No matter how big or small the job is.

A good compact Reciprocating Saw. I use it to cut trees and branches. Much easier than using a chainsaw.

The saw is lightweight and Built tough

I really love the cordless part on this. But if you don't have anything Black&Decker cordless, buy a battery and a battery charger at the same time you purchase this product. It's really easy to use. So pretty much any one could use it. Which is great.

It took a long time to review this item because it did not come with a battery pack and it took a while to get one. This is very well made, and is not TOO heavy, although heavy for me (I'm over 50). It takes a 20v lithium battery that you can find on Amazon or Walmart.com for about $40. It has a release button for the blade so you don't have to use tools to get blade off. I only use it to cut small things like wooden dowels to fit my sliding door and windows, to keep them secure. Later, when we move into our new house, I plan to use it for small projects that can be fixed without professional help. My son says he will use it to make a birdhouse too. Blade gets hot, so don't touch immediately after use.

This is great for the DIY person, small jobs around the house and garden. Not a professional's tool by any means. Blade wears very quickly. Does not come with battery or charger. Sold separately. Comes with one blade. Easy to load and put together. I am a novice I have never used this kind of tool before in my life. I was able to put the blade in myself without needing to read all the instructions. Was easy to figure out where everything went where to put what and how to use it. It is novice user friendly. Blade does wear very quickly. It would be nice if this came with some type of blade cover attachment for safety when not in use. Otherwise you need to remove the battery and then the blade when not in use. But perhaps you might lose the blade in a drawer somewhere. A cover would not require you to remove the blade when not in use. There is a safety lock on the device near the handle. Works great but very easy for little hands to find and undo. So again best to completely remove battery and blade when not in use. Weighs about 10-11lbs w/ battery
