If you just want car play and be able to play videos through usb, this player is affordable and had no problems so far. Only trade back is the shop that installed the adapter for the steering wheel controls wont work with this offbrand. Not sure if any other adapters will work but the reverse cameras work. Also there is no rear USB connection because there is one in the front. That feature is a bummer but this player suffices for now. Worth the price.

This radio exceeds expectations. I do recommend people to do the RDS update. If you try to save certain radios will brick your radio until you hit the tiny reset button. The update is available on Power Acoustiks website.

Works very well with apple car play and such. The sound it puts out is ok but for the price you can't beat it

Purchased in store and installed in our 2009 Malibu. All functions work great the only exception is that if we attempt to program the channel presets the radio with freeze and cycle on and off every 15 seconds. The reset button next to the USB port makes it easy to fix until I have time to configure the update which I have read is pretty easy. Otherwise you we can just dial to a radio station but be don't listen to the radio much anyway so there's been no rush to update the firmware. The main purpose for the purchase is to have the Apple CarPlay function and it works perfectly. Call quality it is great and speakers work very well. In all it's been a great purchase. Hoping to purchase another one for our 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan

It's a great little radio with surprising specs, did have to update the firmware due to a glitch with it freezing while setting radio stations but other than that's it's buttery smooth and has a ton of great features for the price with true 4V pre-outs.

Android Auto works well, though it is only wired, not wireless. Haven't tried the speakers yet because this thing is driving my factory speakers so well, I'm not sure if I need to go through the effort of swapping. Probably will though. Sound is good, bluetooth and android auto work great. I don't have iPhone to test Carplay. The built in menus are slightly distorted/stretched like they look in the photos, but it looks fine when doing android auto. Decent configuration options, and the learn feature works well enough for steering wheel controls. Unfortunately, the play/pause button doesn't work for Android auto (this is also true for the remote's play/pause button). I installed in a 2005 Prius with a dash kit and wiring kit. Worked perfectly on first boot, but it was not obvious how to set up the steering wheel control wiring. For those with this and a Prius: There's a connector that went into the factory radio that you don't connect to any aftermarket radio. With your dash kit, you'll get a resistor to use to connect between two of the five wires on this connector. The steering wheel controls are connected to the other three wires. SWC GND goes to the remaining Red one, and the other two go to KEY1 and KEY2. Doesn't matter which because of the auto learn function.

It's a nice radio I love the car play feature, except you can't watch YouTube videos or Netflix or any kind of videos on it, so I don't see no point or difference between using Bluetooth and CarPlay, if it had a cd/dvd input to be able to watch videos since you can't using CarPlay I would had gave it a better rating, and also if you are into loud music in your car and adjusting speakers volume and setting this is not the right radio for you, that's the main reason why I asked for a refund, when it comes to speaker volumes it sucks big time, dual radios sound louder than this one, if your like me into car music your best bet is pioneer Sony alpine or kenwood for speaker settings and volume increases, besides that this is the perfect radio for if you just want something that looks nice and want to have CarPlay in your vehicle, one last thing if you purchase this radio you must do a master reset on it because if you don't the radio will act up and shut on and off constantly, the master reset button is under the usb connector cover you will need a pin or needle to be able to press the button, hold it for about 3 seconds then if everything is connected properly the radio will work like it should, but anyways if you want a up to date radio and speakers this is not a bad deal for the price but it didn't meet my expectations when it came down to adjusting speaker volumes and settings

Bluetooth feature stopped working on it. then the annoying buzzing when its on. took it to a shop. and they verified it was the headunit

for the last few days, the device has been restarting by itself continuously. even after i pressed the reset for 11 seconds to hard reset the device. it did not stop the restart problem. now i have to remove the device because it's useless.

Got this on sale at Walmart figured I'd try it for the price. Set it all up and when I go to program radio station presets unit freezes then keeps rebooting itself. Not worth the hassle. Everything else works fine. If you aren't going to use radio stations and just want the CarPlay/auto along with Bluetooth and usb function it's a deal. If you listen to morning or sports talk radio not for you.
