Check the ohms on your subs and the rating before buying but this amp will push most subs. I have it pushing 2 2000w rms subs and it's doing the job. Believe me. It's not enough to max out even the rms but it's still bumpin like crazy.
great strong enough
awesome amplifier. sucks the plug isnt 0 gauge though
Amp has been great so far no complaints
it came on time
You have to remember, when you see 7500 watts, that rating is for “Peak Power”, which can be quite confusing when starting to build a System. That “7500 Watt” rating can't be compared from Amplifier to Amplifier or actually from Brand to Brand of Amp. Heck, it can be different within the same Manufacturer's Amplifier lineup-so much that when I bought Power Acoustik's RZR1-2500D Amplifier, it was able to power the same 12” MOMO/Polk Aluminum 4 ohm Subwoofer, where this Power Acoustik Overdrive OD1-7500D with “5000 Watts” had issues with going into “protect mode” for what appeared to be thermal issues where as the Razor series did not. Finally, I put a JL 10” Subwoofer that was more efficient on the Overdrive 7500 while the Razor 2500 powered the more power hungry MOMO/Polk sub with absolutely no issues at all. I am talking 5 hours of thumping with Above and Beyond and Ajunnabeats Trance music without missing a down beat. So there you have it, the cheaper, smaller amplifier was happier than this giant of an amplifier with the less efficient Sub. That is something that needs to be in any review for a product because on paper this Overdrive Amplifier was supposed to smoke it's smaller brother Razor Amplifier all day long. So the best way for me to finish is by saying this, Hearing is Believing!
This amp worked for two days and then it went out and doesn't work anymore. I'm trying to send it back now so I can get my money back. worked for two days and then it went out and doesn't work anymore. I'm trying to send it back now so I can get my money back.
