Power Acoustik PD-710B 7" Single-DIN In-Dash TFT/LCD Touchscreen DVD Receiver with Bluetooth

Great unit for the price. With some minor cutting to the dash of the 62 Studebaker Hawk it was a great fit. Love the Back up camera feature. Bluetooth to my iPhone music is a great asset also as I live in the mountains and don't have any radio Sigma.

I bought this to replace an original JVC single DIN stereo DVD player in a truck camper. During installation I referred to the old instrictions for the JVC. There were diagrams that were identical to those in the manual for this Power Acoustic. That leads me to think they both came out of the same factory in Japan! Installation for me was no different than any other single DIN radio. Not difficult. After 12 years I really didnt know how to operate the old JVC. Just too complicated and finicky. I had thus radio figured in about 2 minutes. The screen interface is sensible and easy. It works well for me because the screen hangs below so ti doesnt block other controls on the panel. Its job for me is to play DVDs and handle the sound from the crappy TV. It does these jobs just fine for me. Im very pleased. I give this a "BUY" recommendation

Decent radio CD / DVDis slow sometimes. Otherwise great radio.

Ran great for about 2 years then died, something inside the unit failed. Checked fuses in car and on the unit nothing wrong, so no power to main unit but security light was on!

don't buy its a pice of crap put it in my 72 buick skylark that i have parked in my garage only take it out on weekends not even 2 months i had it and it stop coming on won't respond checked power to unit and its getting 12 volt acc and 12 volt memory ground is good but still nothing what joke ben siting on my garage work bench since dec 2018 waste of money nothing but a paper weight i think the company should take them back and refund the money or at least fix it if you plan on buying i suggest you buy the extended warranty because its not if but when its going to crap out because it is
