Basically ready out of the box and — I can speak from being a total RC car fanatic as a kid — the car itself is fun, but the headset takes this to another level. It's so cool getting the first person view while racing around. You can explore nooks and crannies of your house and it's like being a little kid again. I'd try one and then if you like it, get a second so you can race with a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly a fun little toy. it works for pretty much any age and it's way more entertaining than i thought. setup was super easy too, you just scan the QR on the little card they give, download the app and it's ready to go. Comes with a quality playmat, batteries, usb c cable, RC car, VR goggles, and the remote. only thing i didn't like were the vr goggles. they made me feel kinda nauseous, so i stopped using them. it's way better to just hold your phone and use it like that. other than that, it's fun to mess around with and worth getting. the remote has 3 different speeds not too much of a difference but still nice to have. The car itself has a magnet mounted camera that just snaps into place or comes off if you just want to race without the pov. You charge the car via the USB C cable provided and the remote comes with batteries they include as well! the camera is decent, it's like the quality of a doorbell camera, definitely not HD but not terrible either lol. one thing to note is sharp turns sometimes makes the car tip over especially if the camera is mounted which in turn snaps the camera out of place slightly and makes the feed go offline. Overall great toy for the price really fun

I don't really use the headset much, but it still adds to the experience and the camera can take photos and videos, which I didn't expect. It handles well indoors on mat it comes with and on any flat, hard surfaces and is easy to control. Video quality and battery life are basic, but totally fine for the price. App is on slower side and needs improvement. Comes with batteries for remote and tools needed for it to function. Car charges via USB C. The mat is a lot of fun to use, but driving the car whenever you want is a lot of fun too! I love the size of the car because you can use it to zip around indoors without needing a ton of space. The VR aspect is a bit of a disappointment as I thought this was using a local connection to the headset. Instead, you have to download an app and use your phone to do the VR, which I refused to do due to security concerns of downloading apps from untrusted companies with no brand reputation. Overall though, this is a very fun to use RC car.
