I bought this is a Christmas present for my daughter and she loves it.

Works as advertised. It's pretty loud though, and we were hoping that the cat would do little more on its own, rather than relying on the remote control for everything.

I thought this robot cat would have much more functionality options but its quite repetitive.

The high-tech-looking design really fooled me. For this price I was expecting something a lot nicer. It's more of a noisemaker than anything else. It has a bunch of buttons on a cheap-feeling remote to get it to act like other animals - which is the main thing it does. Why have a robot cat that mainly doesn't behave like a cat? The lighting effects: just backlit translucent face and head. The speaker is low quality, making the sounds noxious and irritating. More on the remote - it has directions arrows, making you think you should be able to steer the toy. But the arrows seem to be just to make more noises? Doesn't have a charging port. Just a removable battery with cords on it that you snap on to a cheap USB cord for charging.

This was such a disappointing toy. The commands did not work as expected, it was not intuitive, and my 8 year old daughter was bored with it very quickly.
