I have a huge bush at my moms place that has gotten out of control. My moms sheers wouldn't cut it last year and these had sold out. I made sure to get them once I saw them this year. They worked great to cut and shape it. Now I just need to let it settle and finish it off.
Great product. Retains sharpness and is easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the rubber grip of these shears which made the work easy and comfortable. Also, they helped me trim my garden as well as a small tree I have in my backyard. I didn't expect to be able to use them on the small tree, but they worked very well and exceeded my expectations. I have had them for over a weak and they are still sharp.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was familiar with this brand for scissors so had high hopes for this trimmer and was not disappointed. The grips are comfortable and don't feel too awkward in your hand, and the blades are sharp enough to cut through small branches and bushes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sharp and easy to handle!! We had a bunch of low hanging branches that needed to be cleared away, and these did a perfect job. They handled even bigger branches with no trouble. The handles are comfortable and easy to grip.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No one tells you how important gardening shears are when you start buying tools. They need to stay sharp so you can trim all the bushes on a biweekly basis and they need to be comfortable because honestly it gets tiring after a while. There are both!! Easy to use, stay sharp, and never feel unsafe. I'm going to buy the whole line.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well made clippers! Durable and has good angles between the blades to trim the branches. It could cut through pretty thick ones as well. And as you can see in the pics, it has the round rubber knob guards that prevent the handles from banging into each other when you cut the branches as you close in the handles. I like the well thought out design for safety. As long as you close the handles, it should be safe. The maintenance should be easy. I would spray some wd40 to maintain it for a longer use. I think this is one of the best tools for bushes, vines, tree branches, etc to trip and when you want to cover a wide range at once. I love it!
Good quality as expected from Fiskars. The item wasn't packaged as new w a label so I think the one we received was a return (or previously used?). Would be nice if it included a blade cover for storage. Also odd to order from Walmart and item shipped was from Home Depot.
I bought these shears to be ready to trim bushes because they were highly recommended by Bob Vila (This Old House). I can see they are well-made, that the blades are sharp, but they are MUCH heavier than I anticipated. Because the blades are sharper than some cheaper models, they add to the weight. Be prepared for very long handles as well. Women have shorter arms and less upper body strength than a man, so the shears would probably be fine for a tall guy. I evaluated these shears in comparison to others, thinking the features would be an asset. I was wrong. Not sure if its worth the trouble to return.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #incentivized These friskers hedge clippers are OK. They are advertised as being extra strong with less effort, but I actually found them to be not super strong. These work well on smaller branches but if you have anything that's half a inch in diameter expect for these not to cut through the branch very easily. I do like the design, the grip and the way they look , however. I got this product free from influenster to try and give my review.
