When we received it. The directions didn't make sense. We had to improvise on some steps. Some of the wood was chipped. The trimming had come off. We had to glue it with wood glue. Some of the bases had cracks in them. The main reason why we didn't return was we had taking everything out. We had no way out of bundling it back to return it nor a vehicle big enough to take it to the store for a return. We had to improvise and make some adjustments to make it sturdier.

My 2 year old nephew loved this best of all his Christmas gifts. His mother had to make him take it off to be washed eventually.

Size up if you want to have layers underneath. We did for Halloween. Washed/dried well but there was some shrinkage, mostly evident in the hood. I did buy a 5T for my 4 year old.
