Back in 1980s, while I was in college, my roommate and I built 4 four way monster speakers. It required a 6. 5" and 12" Pyle Speakers to drive the grunt of the music. They rocked. Well, the old 6. 5" Pyle Speakers got tired. So I replaced them with newer Pyles and BAM, The speakers rock again. Thanks for your help.
If you are looking for a replacement speaker for a 2001 Pontiac Firebird or a Chevy Camaro with the Monsoon sound system. This speaker works perfect! You will need to wire the speaker in parallel when installing in the front doors. In the sail just wire the sub like stock. Good clean Bass!
I purchased these to upgrade my factory subs in my 2000 WS6 Trans Am. Wow! Unbelievable improvement over stock. I had to really dial back the bass sliders on my EQ. Classic rock has a rock solid bottom now. And they can produce a nice clean thumping bass when desired. No earthquakes, but quite reasonable.
Just built a Box for a friends golfcartand was shocked at the sound. This little sub not only blays full spectrum minus the tweeters job, but put it on a crossover and it Hits all the way down to 25 hrz. I am very imprrssed. And I will but more for my own car.
I used 1 of these 6.5" subs in a t-line tuned to 40 hz. The output is impressive for a 13$ 6.5" sub, but the imaging and tightness of sound is what struck me. With a sheet of paper in front of the vent at 150 watts it does an impressive number shaking the paper violently(showed a friend and he was impressed). I would only recommend this subwoofer if you use 2 or more at a time since you cannot expect it to be near the loudness of a 12, or 15. It sounds good sealed or vented, but if you vent then tune around 28 - 32 hertz it actually plays the lows with clarity.

thing sounds better than most of my subs that says sumrhin bc i put hundreds into this
Unit mounting width is actually 6.6" and it says it on the box it comes in. May not seem like much but just enough to require me to get aftermarket mounts lol. Other than that decent bass response but don't expect it to be on par with a 12". Also slight tick of what sounds like the voice coil leads bouncing around but that only when really pushing this little guys limits and it could also just be the pair I got all in all great for 12.98
With a little modification, worked perfectly and sounds great as a replacement for the center console sub in my Jeep.
Worked fine to replace OEM sub in our minivan which was blown. Not amazing bass but given it's size can't expect too much. Liked the dual coil option so it can be wired down to 2 ohm.
