Power Wheels DC Super Hero Girls Dune Racer, 12V

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My daughter LOVES this DC Super Hero girls racer (you could easily leave off decals to make it gender neutral if you wanted). Fairly easy to assemble, although I recommend 2 people putting it together to facilitate/speed up the process! Rides well on both grass & concrete for us. She likes that she & her friend can take turns driving w/out having to change seats. Battery charged well and provided a good 2-3 hours of drive time for us. Really fun to watch her take off & enjoy!

What a fun ride this is. When it came in the mail my daughter was so excited I had to put it together myself before my husband came home. It took 2 hours but I did it! Seeing the joy in her face was amazing and worth it. My family came over 2 days later and all the cousins took turns riding in it. They had a blast! I even took a turn! How fun! Love this power wheels for my 6 year old who is starting to outgrow her power wheels jeep. I love that it is bigger and will hold 2 children. It goes fast enough for lots of fun, but not so fast that it's a safety issue. We love the DC superheroes on the hood directed more towards girls , which is something I haven't seen on these before. I like that my daughter will be able to enjoy this for at least 2 to 3 years. I would definitely recommend this product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This product is amazing! It looks great and my daughter loves it! Assembling the product takes time, so do not expect to be able to get it done quickly. The instructions were thorough. We didn't have an issues trying to figure them out. The best thing about it, is it is sturdy. It doesn't seem like something that would fall apart easily and it held two children easily without them seeming to be "squished". While my daughter was using it, I noticed at the lower speed, it will go through grass. But it goes through it much easier at the higher speed, which as stated in the instructions, can be unlocked by removing a screw. It doesn't go too fast with the higher speed. In fact, I think the children enjoyed it at the higher speed. The only thing I had an issue with, were the red caps that go in the wheel, "hubcaps". The caps on the back wheels were fine and stayed on, but the caps for the front would immediately pop off as soon as it started moving. We tried putting them back on, but they would just keep popping off. But not a huge issue. There is a compartment in the front of the product to hold toys, etc. My daughter felt that was the greatest part! I would say this product is definitely worth purchasing! Great power wheels ... all the parts and stickers were in tact. I'm a 68 year old grandmother and had no problem putting it together Alone ..' ... I charged the battery for 18 hrs ... dead ..... I tried one from the Barbie ATV and it worked ( thank god ... not a bigger problem). Called Mattel and they are sending a new battery.

Quality and finish are all good, design is good and it is stout. HOWEVER, I am very disappointed in the power. This will not go "offroad" in the low speed and barely goes off road in the high speed. And by offroad I mean through the grass. I have (2) 40 pound kids and it really struggles getting them around the yard especially up any grade. Was really hoping for more especially given the price. Wallmart puts very little technical detail in the description so it was difficult to really analyze performance prior to the purchase. If you are planning to stay on the pavement this is great, but if that was the case wouldn't you buy a little less expensive one........

Bought this item, charged the battery for 18 hours as per instructions. We gave it to our daughter on her birthday, we set it outside and it moved for about 5 minutes, then no pedal response. Have to now take it 50 miles north to the nearest service center because Walmart doesnt accept returns on these products. If you are considering purchasing one, make sure you know where your nearest service center is.

Missing a head rest and all decals

I liked the look of the dune racer I'm just disappointed that neither of them worked that I got the first one it was damage to the truck when I got it and the gear shift didn't work, the replacement they sent me the box was heavily damaged and the dune racer didn't work at all. I am highly disappointed because it was suppose to be a first for my 4 year old and now she has nothing
