First off let me just say that anything you ordered that has to be put together do not expect it to fit together properly there will be some tugging and pulling you need to apply as an elbow okay now that that's out of the way it took me approximately two and a half hours to put this together by myself reading the directions I charged it for the full 18 hours as the directions indicated and it worked perfectly the lights work the radio works both Take 6 double a batteries each the truck ride smoother it goes in the grass there's room for two kids there's a small area in the back for storage but your basic power wheel except it looks way cooler if you were not liking to feed into the concept of a character this is perfect because it's very versatile for anyone it also comes in a Boy Color but I didn't need a Boy Color there's 47 steps to putting it together most of it consists of piecing it together and then screwing it in do not use a drill it is hand tighten only for a reason I used to drill on one screw and not only did it work the plastic but it's stripped out the area where the screw went the one downfall was that several of the holes were not screwed out all the way and I did have to get a drill to make one whole things happen if you do not want to deal with having to put it together do not buy a new one or hire someone if you don't have the patience yourself I read a lot of reviews on this most of them were good except for the one he's crying about how hard it was to put together if you want a cardboard box and tape car then make one yourself this one requires complete patience couple pieces I did find we're not lined up with the holes correctly but it's plastic moving around adjust the screw it'll eventually go glad I bought it for my daughter's 3rd birthday she has plenty of
My three year old is a little timid so he does not prefer to drive but loves to ride. My five year old daughter loves driving and riding. There is plenty of room for two and it is simple to drive with forward and reverse. It was the hit of the party for boys and girls ages 3-6.
Despite having to put every little piece together, it was worth the 3 hours it took to do it. My son absolutely LOVES it. And its got some good power to it! Good on grassy terrain and gravel. Love how the decor blends perfectly too! The only thing Id recommend is getting some bolts an nuts an drill new holes to adjust the seat. My son (7) is way too tall for its original sitting space.
Took an experienced mechanic a couple hours to assemble. Not hard just time consuming. 4 year old absolutely obsessed with his power wheels. He's tall for his age and fits comfortably. Can fit two preschoolers easily. Battery lasts all day and then some of constant use. The lights work, radio is like a voice changer, plays a couple tunes, start up engine sounds. Don't think there is a power off button, just disconnect the battery which is under the front hood. Incredibly pleased with this purchase. I would recommend this jeep
My grand daughters stayed up with me as I put the keep together in my kitchen till 11:00pm. About 2:45 min to complete. After reading some reviews I almost dreaded the task. The directions are pictures which speak a thousand words. I had no problem with the task. It requires a little more energy than a lot of people want to spend. There is one place the directions failed me was about the spacers in the wheels and what to do with the motors (tighten them). My grand children were so excited today after we charged the battery fo 18 hours as instructed. We started the charge before assembly. You will need to buy 7 AA batteries for the radio and lights which work great. I read a lot of reviews on other ride on toys which turned me toward this one. I'm very satisfied and purchased the 3 year warranty just in case. Photos added for your consideration of tackling the set up. Was it worth the time...absolutely to see the joy it brought these two. Go Power Wheels!!!
Great price. Easy to set up and easy to drive. I love the higher speeds and the 130lb weight limit. Battery takes a long time to charge, but lasts forever!
Instructions are a bit vague to put together. But overall got it done and I get so much joy watching my niece and nephew drive around the yard. My nephew even figured out how to do a wheelie! Oh, and it was missing one of the covers on the light bar but Mattel is sending me a new one at no charge. Overall very happy with this pink Jeep!
Disappointed in Walmart. Love the Jeep. However!!! We ordered the PINK, my receipt says pink, my order history says Pink.....we got BLACK! I didn't return it because they are now out of stock of both black and pink! Seriously? You had one job, two choices. Black or Pink. How do you send the wrong color? Not happy.
We just received this jeep for my daughters 4th birthday. Over all it is adorable and I expect it to hold up. However there were some pieces that appear to be damaged. Obviously I expect everything to be in brand new condition but it was not.
Battery gave out and won't hold a charge after 2 uses. Left it charging for 24hours and battery is not giving out any voltage. Checked the voltage with the charger on and shows voltage, once I unplug the charger the battery gives out zero voltage.
