I went down the path of buying a 24v car for my kid - generic brand (though in theory official Chevrolet? I doubt it). The noise was absolutely intolerable. I think the motors are more highly gear reduced so they run way higher RPM, and there is no attempt to enclose them. This 12V fisher price brand power wheels is just way, way better. So much quieter / tolerable. Motors are somewhat enclosed under the rear wind of the vehicle which is part of why it's quieter, but also motors run higher current / lower RPM. Enjoy!
I purchased this for my grandson. He is a little over three feet tall, yet he just turned two, I was very concerned about the fit I was so pleased when ergonomically it fit him perfect! I was also concerned about power etc. So far it has plenty power to pull him on asphalt or grassland. I will let you know how the battery holds up. I ask his parents to read about the battery and read the reviews so it is handled properly and holds up for the long haul. Over all I am extremely pleased with this purchase :) Sam's has it for almost half the price as other stores with no less quality. I am not a product tester. I am thankful for all the people who bothered to write reviews on all different makes and models of ride on toys so I could try to make a good decision. Thus far extremely pleased and my grandson, he was ecstatic!
Jeep is cool. I got it for my grandkids. They like it. It was easy to put together. I like the slow mode. Now they had it for a little while the kids are good at drive and we removed the safety screw so now the jeep can go a little faster for them.
Would be nice if it came with a lap belt. Grandsons love it. Getting many miles on it already. It will go in grass and roads just fine but if grass is long and wet it will slow down or spin tires on hill. It's not a real jeep, it's a toy, so we don't expect it to off road like a real vehicle.
We bought this for our granddaughter to drive during Christmas she loved it. Worked well. It did have to be assembled but we knew that from other reviews so we were prepared
I bought this for my one year and two year old boys definitely was a good purchase charged overnight and ready to go for Christmas morning. Only negative missing pin for steering wheel
The seating for this was somewhat smaller than anticipated but overall does seem sturdy. The assembly however was a nightmare. I'm no stranger to assembly being required however the instructions for this were extremely unclear and overall it took me three hours of constant work on it. Highly recommend assembly before gifting to your child otherwise you'll have a few hours of an impatient kiddo in your ear while you try to comprehend what little direction was provided.
Cool Jeep! Very roomy so kids won't grow out of it as fast as they get older. Bought it for my 2yo & he loves it but hasn't figured out steering yet. My 7yo son was even able to drive him around in it & both fit comfortably. The only thing I wish was different is the ignition key doesn't actually turn it on/off. The only way to stop them from hitting the gas pedal & driving off is if you disconnect the battery under the hood. Would be handy if they made it parent remote controlable too but this one didnt have this feature like some others do now. I was a little annoyed that we had to pick it up at a different location out of town bc ours said it was out of stock...come to find out a few days later when in store, that our store actually did have them in stock & they had discounted the price of them over $50off what we paid.
They didn't make things easy. They show you a blurred picture and you then have to use your imagination to find the right part and add the part to the car. This is undoubtedly the cheapest and worst instruction booklet I've seen. There are so many ways they could have made it easier. After many hours and much frustration, the car is assembled and working. Waiting now to see how it works and if it's a durable product choice.
Would not recommend. Purchased as a Christmas present and started putting it together and the sterling wheel rod and windshield piece are both missing. Called and the company is sending replacement parts but probably won't be here before Christmas. Hard to give as a gift for Christmas with missing parts.
