These are by far the most comfortable controllers I've found for my small hands, and I love the cute colors of the Pikachu ones! I wish other systems had controllers like these *cough PS5*
The PowerA Nano remote stands our household's collection of five Switch controller options. As the adult gamer in the family, this is my "go-to" remote. It plays hard and packs easily. All of the functionality of the OEM switch contoller is available here at a fraction of the price and size. Additionally, the PowerA support team was prompt, professional, and effective in solving the only issue we encountered with this product. A failure to charge problem was quickly solved with a free replacement in just a few days. I highly recommend!
This controller feels really nice. The buttons, triggers and analog sticks feel really similar to an official Nintendo product. It even has motion controls which is amazing. But the description says that there are no compromises but there is one. Well two but I don't have any amiibos so I don't care. There is no rumble. No rumble isn't that bad but personally after using rumble controllers for so long it feels like losing a sense. But it is $10 dollars cheaper so I guess it's fine. And it has paddles.
This controller is maybe 2/3 size a switch pro controller. It's perfect for my 3 year old gamer, but it's comfortable and high quality enough for me to use it as an adult I hope Power A considers bringing this back into production or bringing it wireless to PS5 and XBOX. My son would like to play more on other consoles and can't reach the buttons, this would be ideal for kids under 10 I think.
I'm a man with rather large hands, but this tiny controller feels great and works really well. I wish it came in different colors, as I would definitely buy more.
The battery life is incredible. I haven't needed to constantly charge it and it's been very useful. It's not only compatible with the Nintendo Switch. It can also connect to Windows, Android, and iOS. The shortcut buttons on the back have been a huge help when playing games like Smash Bros. Ultimate, where I can map the L and R buttons to the back buttons. The only problem I have encountered with the battery is that unlike the official pro controller, this one doesn't have a battery indicator or low battery warning when using the switch. The sticks on mine do seem to be very prone to slightly drift, but it's not terrible.
I bought it out of confidence because I knew the quality of PowerA: it didn't disappoint Only big sour note: the lack of any info about the battery level so sometimes the controller dies while playing
The form factor is everything I want and for the first week I played using it I was sure more of these controllers would find their way to my desk. Then the drift started. Bad enough to make the controller useless to me. Actually less than seven days. I love this thing but can't see spending another dime on something bound to fail me so quickly. You got my money once PowerA, That'll be the last time.
I bought the black version in February 2022, which developed heavy stick-drift after just 6 weeks and became pretty much unusable. After trying out alot of other controllers I bought a second one in grey in November 2022, as it's smaller size fits my hand perfectly and I don't get cramps as much. However, this second controller developed heavy stick-drift aswell after just 3 month in use. PowerA should look for other thumb-sticks to use, as the ones used so far are just god aweful and die after mere weeks of moderate usage (2-3 hours in the evening).
Bought brand new and great for 7-8 months. Then it got drift so badly it became useless. Now its just a 60 dollar paperweight. Dont spend your money on it as it seems to be a common issue.
