Pros: -Very sturdy -Holds a set of up to 90lb Powerblock dumbbells (Ive read about people using it with other brands like Bowflex but I cannot vouch for that personally as I only own a set of Powerblock Elite EXP) -Slots for adder weights -Leaves open space underneath for storage -Comes pre assembled (just have to apply grip tape) -Folds up and very compact Cons: -Slots for adder weights are convenient but could be a little deeper as they lean if you put them in quickly or on the side with rubber knob (set adder weight in on flat side with rubber knob sticking up) -Height is fine for me (5'10") and people a bit taller but if you are much shorter then you will have to lift up and out more with arms (bending at elbow) with less hip hinge (bending at waist which makes process of picking up and putting back weights a little easier) Overall, this is a great sturdy dumbbell stand at a decent price compared to other alternatives ($83 when purchased). Even my cons are a bit nitpicky but made as more of an awareness. So If you have a set of Powerblocks in the 50-90lb range then its hard to go wrong with this stand!
this is surprisingly sturdy. it arrives fully assembled, and works perfect for my powerblock dumbells. Definitely recommended for the price
stand is very sturdy and i was able to fit the PowerBloxk sets Stage1 (50lbs) then Stage2(70lbs) on the stand very nicely and felt safe.
High quality, perfect for my needs.
Price was good for hard to find item. It was better than expected.
The stand is well built, strong and sturdy. It serves its purpose well. No complaints.
Very sturdy. I was sceptical of the folding style but was surprised. It doesn't wobble with only one weight it. Comes with the abrasive sticker inserts that sit under the weights. Better economic option than the more expensive version. I was thinking about making my our version, but for $66.00, who could beat it.
Excellent delivery. Not what I actually wanted. Re-ordered satisfactorily,
It does exactly what it is suppose to. Well made and trivial to put together.
*To be clear, this would be a 4.5 star review if halves were allowed* Small footprint, mostly preassembled, sturdy, and does its intended job well. Holds blocks with their stage 3 kits just fine, no balance issues or creaking whatsoever; so apart from the heavy end of the commercial line, it will cradle any Powerblock series without issue. The angle is also not a problem for nesting. Personally, I also prefer it to the column stand; not only because of the folding ability, but because it's much easier to level out. Should your floor not be perfectly flat. Now to a few things that could be improved. Given the cost of the item you'd think they could apply the pre-cut grips for the top plate beforehand. Also, I'll echo what some other reviews have mentioned, and state the adder weight holders could be around a half inch deeper. They WILL hold just fine if you take the extra few seconds to place them in at the right angle, but far too often; with how shallow the recesses currently are, they are likely to initially be tilted.
