I used these heat shrink clamps to replace the fittings on the ends of a garden hose rather than use a worm gear style clamp that looks janky and is likely to slice your hand open if you brush against the tail end of it. For my purposes it worked great, ordered new hose ends and clamped them with a pair of these, holding up just fine and the hose looks like it should rather than a cobbled up repaired mess. Heat them until they turn slightly glossy and you're done. I bought a second pair to repair another hose after trying the first pair. For reference this was on a Zero G thin ightweight garden hose that originally came with aluminum ends.
Exactly what I expected from Zoro. Gates heat shrink clamps work perfectly and look great. Zoro has the best price, shipping cost, and the fastest delivery time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I used these to secure barbed fittings onto the ends of compressed air hose. Seemed to work fine. Is holding 125 psi with no leaks. The reasons for not giving 5 stars are: 1) The shrink clamps were not uniform. The thickness varied around the circumference, The ends were also not even and square. This possibly may not affect the functionality, but seemed indicative of a potential lack of quality control. 2) There were no instructions given for what minimum temperature was needed to perform the heat shrink operation. This info was not even available on the manufacturer's website. It just said to heat with a heat gun. My heat gun has two settings (high and low). Also, it would be very useful to know if the temperature of boiling water is sufficient to shrink the clamps. For many applications, it would be good to know that you can perform the shrinking by submerging in boiling water for a specified amount of time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
That's a really handy tool and has a strong grip once heated. installation was super easy.
