The vest works great, it's keeps me cool when cutting the grass down here in Florida. It is very hard to get it to dry. I have a place to hang it in the carport and it stays there until I need it the next week.

Bought this for our family cabins, just in case..Sure enough, a storm came through during family week and we were without power for over 21 hours. This started right up first pull. We had not picked up a battery yet for the electric start. Kept both refrigerators going plus other things. Saved the food and the rest of the week went well. Other family members were impressed with this generator too and I am so glad we have this ready for the next time! Very pleased with this purchase!

I had an eight-hour motorcycle ride to get back home. The temperature was reported as "feels-like" 104º F. Fifteen minutes before I arrived home the car behind me decided to run the yellow light, the only problem, I was stopped at the light right in front of him. If I had not been 100 percent alert, I would have been creamed and possibly dead. This vest kept me cool and alert, saved me from heat exhaustion and fatigue and made my long ride home not only safer, but also fun. When the temperatures soar, this vest is always in my kit.

Like this generator. After final assembly and adding oil (don't forget this! It is shipped without oil) and gas it started right up. No problems.

Purchased online....shipped and received with no problems....Minimum, simple assembly. Started first pull and works great.

We use the generator on a daily bases and it works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vest fits as expected and is comfortable to wear. I like it. Just would be nice if it had some hi viz on it so i dont have to wear another vest over it.

I'll begin by saying that so far it works as it should so no issues with pull start or power generation after the first 2 uses ~1.5hrs run time. Couple things to think about: 1) Has to be manually grounded so plan on driving a rod everywhere you're using it. I should have caught it wasn't self grounded and salesman didn't mention it either. 2) No run time meter so you will be keeping a manual log to know when it needs maintenance. 3) No receptacle covers to keep debris out. 4) No electric starter. Not sure what to expect for cold temp starting. 5) Was missing a minor part when received. Customer service got it out to me quickly with no issues. 6) Frame had a couple scuffs on it out of the box. Not a big deal to me really. 7) Found out once it's oiled, gassed and started you have no options to return. Only warranty coverage at that point. With all that in mind Ill add that I haven't had a problem with it. Used for back up power a couple days ago during an outage which was my main reason for purchasing. And, in house parts and service through northern tool is a nice benefit if you can settle for a few less options listed above.

bought this vest late last year for a motercycle ride back home, worked great... went to use it today and it won't hold hardley any water. I was on my boat so I was able to resoak it about every hour. I don't know if I let it dry out to much over the winter or why it won't hold the water. I will let it soak over night and see if holds water better tomorrow. As of now I would not recomend you buying one unless you only want to buy one every year. Will update if it holds water tomorrow.
