The PowerPro Super 8 Slick V2 Braid is a top-tier fishing line that offers excellent performance for anglers seeking strength, sensitivity, and durability. Made from a premium Spectra fiber, this line features a unique 8-carrier construction that ensures smooth casting and minimal memory. Pros: Exceptional Strength-to-Diameter Ratio: Despite its thin profile, the line is incredibly strong, allowing you to handle larger fish with confidence. Smooth Cast: The slick coating reduces friction, resulting in longer casts and less line tangling. High Sensitivity: Provides excellent feel, so you can detect even subtle bites. Durability: Resistant to abrasion, making it suitable for fishing around rocks, brush, and other obstacles. Low Memory: Maintains its shape over long periods, reducing line twist and tangles. Cons: Price Point: Slightly more expensive than some other braid options, but the performance justifies the cost. Color Fade: Over time and with exposure to sunlight, the vibrant color may fade, but this doesn't impact performance. Final Verdict: The PowerPro Super 8 Slick V2 Braid is an outstanding choice for serious anglers who demand high performance from their fishing line. Its smooth casting, strength, and durability make it a reliable companion on the water. Whether you're targeting bass, saltwater species, or trolling, this braid delivers excellent results.
Great line. I've been happy with all my powerpro line. the glow is still strong after a year of use on the first spool I bought. I don't use a Palomar knot. I use a modified trilene knot. make two passes through the eye, and take my time to ensure everything lays correctly
The KastKing HyperSeal Waterproof Tackle Box is an excellent choice for anglers seeking both durability and versatility. it fits easily into most tackle bags or boat storage, offering ample space and customizable dividers that lock securely in place, preventing small items from shifting—even during travel. The included desiccant insert, which helps keep lures rust-free, is a thoughtful touch. The transparent lid lets you see your gear at a glance, and the clear exterior label makes for easy organization on the go. One of the standout features is its truly waterproof construction. The sturdy frame, heavy-duty latching system, and tight-sealing gasket do an excellent job keeping water out—even in rough conditions—helping protect delicate hooks and lures from rust and moisture damage. The one-hand open and close design is a great convenience when quick access is needed. The only mild drawback is that if you store lures with any moisture, it's a good idea to dry them first since the airtight seal doesn't allow moisture to escape easily—though the included silica pack helps. Overall, if you need a secure, customizable, and waterproof tackle storage solution, the KastKing HyperSeal Tackle Box is a fantastic buy and outperforms many competitors at a fraction of the price.
You just can't beat PowerPro braided. Been using this stuff for years. It has NEVER failed me!
the V2 is the best line for my baitcast
I was first turned onto braid about 10 years ago and could never imagine using anything but at this point. For the thickness to strength ratio equaling how much line you can fit on a reel it’s a no brainer. I’ve tried pretty much every braid on the market and powerpro by far lasts longer than the others. Depending on how often I fish in a season I generally get 2 seasons out of a spool. I’ll fill 1/2 my reel with backing and then about 75 yards of PP
Walmart was the only one that I found that had the Power Pro fishing line that I wanted. A little pricey but being able to get it was worth the extra cost. Arrived quickly just in time for me to restring my fishing poles with. Great service!! Will be back for more!
