Arrived quickly,as it was shipped. Very easy to assemble and I did it with no help. light weight and sturdy. Works great on small branches that are generally straight. if you have alot of twisting branches you will need to trim them a little. love the bag that comes with or you can use a bucket, using a bag keeps the dust down. Appears to have a good size motor on it with adequate power, let's remember its for small branches,not giant material. leaves and such are going to be hard to run through this the opening is just not made for that. comes with paddleto push material through if needed.

Bought this exactly 1 year ago. The overload protection switch failed to work about 2 weeks before the factory warranty expires. The company was unable to find a way to repair it so they gave me a full refund. I immediately purchased the same item because I was really happy with everything about it. Great product and customer support.

Wish I would have bought this thirty years ago. I usually take a truck load of branches cut to four feet lengths to the landfill. This little monster chewed up all those branches to fit in three lawn and leaf (45 gallon) bags. I would use it for mulch except the branches of pyrachanthia have alot of thorns. Real pleased, definitely recommend.

This is great for smaller and straight limbs. Did have several issues with crooked limbs, easy to open and remove the limbs. For the price and size, it did a great job. It will shred up to 1 3/4 limbs.

I had purchased several bags of what turned out to be very poor grade mulch that was mixed with fine mulch, rocks, old painted wood and thick heavy wood chunks that were supposed to be the base for a zeriscape project. One I began spreading it, it was totally unusable. I couldn't return the mulch, or afford to buy better quality mulch, so I bought this shredder on sale, hoping to grind up the big chunks of wood to mix with the regular size mulch (minus paint and rocks) for a consistent blend. The shredder did exactly what I needed it for, to salvage those bags of bad mulch. I'm still sorting, shredding, and remixing the remaining bags of poor mulch--it's a time consuming process. A project this size means I have to cool the shredder regularly so it doesn't overheat. Also, one thing that could have been better is the consistency of the ground up wood--It's more into dime-sized chips, rather than shreds, but once mixed with the clean, regular sized mulch, it looks ok. Soon, I can get on with my landscaping.

If you are chipping small limbs up to an inch, it does well, but there's no way it'll chip up 1.3 inches without binding. i won't try anything at 1.75 inches. Make sure if you are grinding up branches with green leaves that you clean the hopper regularly. Otherwise, it is pretty good. I highly recommend you use leather gloves,

Perfect for the home owners gardening arsenal, not for professional arborist. Been using this chipper for a month. Pleasantly surprised by the reliable performance of this chipper, especially starting with low expectations due to the low price. It eats semi dry material best. No need to trim off side branches if they are flexible, the chipper will easily draw in bushy branches that are about an inch thick at the base cut. I like that the whole machine is rather lightweight and easy to carry around and store away.

Wish it was a little bigger but I am on a budget so it's the only thing I can for now it works great for the size

I bought a powersmart chipper just like this one 10 years ago. It chipped up my crepe myrtle branches like a champ. This new one is not as powerful 😐 Doesn't suck the limbs in %26 kept bogging down %26 shutting off. I should of returned it.

Unit works . I tried to order a set of knifes and after an hour and a half my phone call was answered and they told me they didn't have that part and it was on back order. I asked if I could order and have them shipped when available and was promptly told they wouldn't take my order and to call back at a later date. So here I am with a unit that I cannot use and will have to call when I have the time and waste another couple of hours.
