I used the snow blower yesterday and was pleased with it. Some of the snow was projected 20 ft and some snow only 4 ft. Be reasonable with your expectations, this is not an expensive snow blower, but it does throw snow well and throws gravel (gravel driveway). It will not get below snow thats been driven on with a vehicle, its too light weight. I did move a pile of snow two feet high and chipped away at it which worked well. Beats shoveling it. Seems built well for a $99 machine and easy to assemble. I have recommended it to other people.
i bought this electric snow blower a few days ago it arrived early pretty simple to put together then i bundled up n went out to clear my deck off about a foot of snow. this thing works great took me half an hour to clear my deck n saved me a few hours of shoveling great buy n geeat walmart service .very happy !
The Fedex delivery man was friendly and extremely helpful in getting our snow blower to exact location near the front entrance. Couldn't have asked for anything more than the great job he did especially in this inclement weather of snow and ice. Keep up the great work!
My first snow blower. It took me 15 minutes to put it together right from the box. We had 21 inch snow in NY; this blower did its job without any hesitation. Hopefully, it will stay strong for any future blizzard. But over all, I am very satisfied how it cleaned 21 inch snow.
Powerful snow blower. Just used it the first time after a major blizzard in NY. It did a great job clearing large amounts of snow from my large driveway. Easy and efficient.
I didn't expect much due to the 3.8 review. But it worked. It has not problem clearing anything under 12 inches. I have yet to try it on heavy wet snow but it has no trouble with the last storm (2026) in Boston. You would need to put some muscles on it though as it doesn't move by itself.
Pros: Wide and tall mouth means larger volume of snow per push Very sturdy, frame won't bend under the pressure Powerful in pulling in snow Easy to assemble Cons: Does not throw snow further than about 2 to 2.5 meters, whether the snow was fluffy and light or heavier. Throw power not as advertised not as advertised General: get used to using it over time. Pressing forward and down too hard will cause the ‘mouth' to dig into the driveway and get stuck. Not pressing enough speeds you along but leaves more snow on the surface layer that you will have to push with a shovel later. Really wish it threw better. I rally wanted to give 5 stars.
This item came late due to the weather. Once I got it, my driveway was pretty covered and iced. But it took a few times going over it, but it removed the snow. Next year I'm be able to use it as soon as possible. It will do great in sure
I hope the motor lasts because as soon as I started it, it smelled. I tried it out in my driveway and I knew right away it was going to need modifications. I purchased a set of skid shoes for the simple purpose that as soon as I pushed on it the front end was scraping which would only make it harder for me to push in snow say 4-6 inches deep. I wasn't impressed with the throwing range, let's see in time. Bought for the front driveway as a toy for my wife to use because she loves to come out and get her exercise and yes even in her 70's such as myself. Hold on to that 8 hp, gas snow blower, you might just need it.
The instructions were not very helpful in putting this together. I'm more so just use common sense. I got it all put together went and got an extension cord plugged it in started up. It started up fine. The first time it was running for about five seconds. I turned it off. I went to turn it back on and a loud screeching noise was happening and smoke started coming out of the motor and the whole unit started smoking. I unplugged it very quick and just left it outside. This is going back for a return.
