Starts up on second or third pull every time, blows through deep snow with ease and controls are in easy reach.

Don't be Fooled!

Marty December 16, 2025

Don't get fooled like I did! This is not the the 26" Briggs %26 Stratton engine unit and if I knew that I would have gone with the seller that listed it and not Walmart. I am done with Walmart. plus this unit has a 3 AAA Battery Light not like the 26" Briggs %26 Stratton engine unit I am u but I guess I should have looked into it!

Damaged in shipping and rattled noise.

Bjorn February 17, 2026

It showed up damaged. The right side of the snow intake was bent in. I put it together, filled it with the oil included, and started it up. It started and the gears work. The overall sound is not good. It has a lot of rattling noise from the internal mechanical parts. If it was a car, I would expect it to explode withing 2-3 miles. I have yet to try it with snow. Hopefully, it does a good job and lasts a long time. Fingers crossed.

It seems to be a nice snow blower. However it seems to leak oil occasionally and part of the front metal cover arrives slightly bent where the snow comes into the auger. Also there is no gas flow valve to close and let the fuel in the line to run out so that the carburetor does not get Funkes up.

Very cheaply made

Apac750 April 9, 2026

Very poorly, made some parts on a snowblower, if not all. just one winter of usage friction wheel disc went bad. All rubber on friction wheel is burned out. moving very poorly or sometimes not even moving. And the worst part is you can't even get parts for the snowblower. my old snowblower is 17 years old and I never have to changed the friction wheel disc or the rubber on the wheel my advice is don't buy nothing from power smart they are made cheapest as possible

do not buy this, i have now used it for 1 and a half months. the friction wheel failed after 8 hours us. there are no places thet repair under warranty, they make it impossible to get warranty help. i ordered the part from powersmart at my expense. Its been a week and a half, and powersmart has not fulfilled the order, and has already taken my payment. in the meantime i cant snowblow the drive. i called their facility in Chicago with no avail, as all i got was a voice mailbox that said that there is nobody to take calls. i left a message, but i have a feeling i will not get a call back and im probably out the money i paid them for the part. Powersmart seems to be a complete scam

Item arrived damaged, no help form powersmart

Casey January 9, 2026

The item arrived damaged, immediately I contacted fed ex and they told me to contact Powersmart. Originally the snow blower was supposed to be delivered Friday December 12 and I was made aware that a signature would be required when the package arrived. I ended up having to take that whole day off of work to wait for the snow blower to arrive and at 6:35 that evening it was delayed with no delivery date provided. At that point I decided to have the item shipped To a FedEx location. The item finally arrived dec 17 and I picked it up there. Once I got Home I found the item to be damaged. After contacting power smart the very next day I did not receive a reply back until after Christmas (understandable being the holiday) I answered all their questions and did not get a replay until I emailed a second time. At this point I was asked to source all of the part numbers for every individual piece that was broken. Again I followed power smarts directions and found all of the part numbers and sent them over the next day. At the point I was told to take it up with Walmart. JUST SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY FOR NAME BRAND IF YOU WANT CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Returning item, too small wimpy, for being larger size available, Says it's a 252cc 8-10HP - 1 throttle setting, no idling - cable for shoot direct adjustment sticks, plastic, plastic gears clicks when rotate - gas tank inside fill cap has a fuel filter screen that gets in way when putting in gas - has good set of tires, just seems like drive slips now much push strength in 4-6” snow, have a drive way that's sloped, had to help it make it up driveway - throws snow ok when 2-4” light snow - be good good if get light snow and have a smaller driveway - don't think it will last more than 5years, Not made in US have a snow blower that's 30 years old that actually works better… going to fix cutting blade and clean carburetor will get another 10 years of use out of it,
