It has plenty of power, came assembled and ready to use. Was splitting wood is 15 min.

Shipped it with bleeder valve left unscrewed all the hydraulic fluid lead out during shipment , Had to buy hydraulic fliid to put back in it. Walmart didnr offer to send fluid to replace it when i asked them too! Hadbt tried out yet if it dosent work properly ill send back for refund ! They just left me hanging !!!

This is our 2nd "Powersmart" wood splitter. It seems to be the same as the one we purchased 10 years ago for $150.00. The old was has so many more better features. This new one does not have the sloped sides to hold the wood in place. The blade is not even sharp - and it has a thick coating on it. It is much more difficult to use as you must use 2 hands and it shuts off once the piece is split. IT DOES NOT split a piece small enough for kindling! If it wasn't such a big bulky item, I would return it! Plus, I don't fee it is worth the price tag at approx $380!!! SO UNHAPPY

It worked well for two uses. Approximately 3 hrs total. Then the engine died.
