Prang Watercolor Set, 16 Colors

This set of watercolors passed my expectations. They are good quality for most artists. It's not of professional quality but for the average person, they are an excellent choice.

If you want to try watercolors, try these. I am an experienced painter, and these are still my favorites. Cannot beat for the price. Before you go buy expensive ones, try these.

I have used this product before and have been very happy with the results. Then I decided to get a larger size with an expanded color pallet. Beautiful set of colors and a convenient size that is easy to transport, which is what I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first.thing I noticed right away was how cute and how well made the case is. I've never seen one like it. Opening up the case I was impressed with how pretty the colors are! The brush is also very nice. I like the pointed tip of the paint brush. My kids and I love art but we have never used any watercolors with a pointed tip paint brush. To me it makes it easier to color in small spaces or to better paint the smaller details. I also love that each color comes out of the box. You just lift it out. I'm pretty sure that is so you can refill it when you run out of one of the colors. I love that! Prang did a great job with the making of this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I I like that the little paint squares can come out so that you can replace them or have others share them whole more than one person paints. They feel a little bit like a gel and not hard and powdery. I like that they colors are pretty watercolors, just want them to be a little darker as some are way to light and need several coats. The brush although I like the pointed tip, the strands separate too easily because you have to push a little harder on the brush so that you can see the paint. I would buy this for my kids.

Paint box lid doesn't close tight.
