great core workout
its easy to put together and sturdy. it has a soft padding, but it does hurt slightly when using it. im pretty sure it will get more comfortable after a few weeks, since you dont often have anything impacting with your abdomen.

Love my adult hula hoop.
Super easy to put together and take apart for storage if you want to. I love the extra weight, it seems easier to keep up. Great material.

Abs do engage
The 2.5lbs is kind if challenging. Cant wait to build up my stamina. I tried that other hula hoop with the one pound ball you swing around. I couldn't deal with the noise this is great.

I'd recommend
I like how easily the segments connected, and it's sturdy when assembled. I actually bought it to start some agility training with my high energy pup, figured it was sturdy enough for him to not break it when hitting it. So far it's been holding up great, plus I get a little bit of a workout holding it up in the air! Definitely recommend

Don't buy this.
This is a very low quality product. Not all of the pieces "click" together. I have had 2 just break while first using them. They didn't break at a 'connection' - just a random break. Ridiculously bad.

The inner pipe broke after using just a few times
One of the plastic inner pipes connected between the two sections broke after using the hula hoop for just about seven times and fifteen minutes each time.
