Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) primer
This book was recommended in a Speech/Language Zoom workshop to get an overview of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It is quite lengthy and filled with very good information/worksheets which benefit all individuals from all walks of life. It addresses issues with anxiety/depression/ autism/ executive function/and the average individual. It is written for a therapist but I think those who work with individuals on a daily basis would benefit from reading this book. There is a lot of information so take it slow and do the exercises recommended. I would recommend this book as a good overview of ACT. Barbara W.
