Pre-Owned Apple 7th Generation iPod 160GB Black Classic MC297LL/A

It has been five months since I bought this item and it is still working great .

I spent almost $600 for two pre-owned IPODS. A bit on the high side for pre-owned items, but less than retail for new ones. They came very quickly and in a secure manner (packaged well and had to sign for them, so delivery was secure). Here's where I ran into problems: both IPODS said they were in "very good" condition. They further described that the cases may have scratches--no problem. The only problem was that one of them had not only case scratches but several scratches and one divot in the screen and a badly scratched thumb wheel. This item should not have been described as in "very good" condition and should have cost less than the other one. I purchased screen protectors from WalMart at the same time I bought both IPODS. Ironic because the screen was not in good shape to begin with--kind of a waste. So my advice is just be sure of what you're getting before you buy. I'm not going to return it because I need it for a gift and it otherwise works fine, just not quite as promised.
