Prego Basil Pesto Sauce, 8 oz Jar

I've always been nervous about pesto. This was my first time trying pesto - and it WAS DELICIOUS!! Try this! It works in anything pasta related - even pizza!

This pesto will always be in my pantry from now on - absolutely delicious! Made the most perfect pasta pesto that my 8-yr-old granddaughter devoured! She gave it a 10/10

This is a pantry staple. Put it on a meatball sub for more flavor. Dump the whole jar onto seaoned chicken in a crock pot, shred when done, and you've got a great protein. Can add cream cheese to the pot too. I always keep it around. I like that the jar is small so that it doesn't go bad or take up a lot of room.

i think it's genuinely good in flavor, but very expensive. definitely make sure you remember to add a little pasta water when you use it so it spreads well. a little goes a long way

I've gotten this a couple times now. I was really pleased with the first jar so bought it a second time. The 2nd time, the flavor didn't seem as good and it was pretty chunky in an unpleasant way. Will probably buy again but it does seem to be pretty inconsistent from jar to jar.

To oily way to much garlic it just seem to be missing something

This does NOT taste like any pesto I've ever had! You can't taste any basil and it has a sour flavor. Pesto does NOT taste sour. I took a snapshot of the ingredient list. Lactic acid and citric acid - well, that's the sour part. And no nuts are listed. Pesto is supposed to have pine nuts. I've used other nuts as well when making homemade pesto. This doesn't have any nuts. And what's with the rosemary extract and oregano water? Those items did not add anything to this mess. I will not be buying this nasty stuff again!
