Prego Chunky Roasted Garlic and Herb Pasta Sauce, 23.75 oz Jar

I use this to make my "homemade" pasta sauce or pizza sauce. For pasta, I add mushrooms, diced sauteed onions %26 garlic and sometimes, chopped fresh tomatoes. That not only adds my own touches to it but also dilutes the sodium per serving. Not only do I use this for pasta and pizza, but I will use a little for my burgers %26 I add it to my pinto bean %26 ground beef stew. And, just like Marie Barone, I tell everyone my sauce is completely homemade!

I never he ave tried the “chunky” sauces in particular but boy have I been missing out! I loved it the flavor is amazing and the chunks of tomato are just the right size so it’s not too overbearing. I enjoyed this sauce over tortellini and it was so good! Great meal for the whole family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Italian foods like lasagna, spaghetti, & honestly just about any dish that has pasta sauce in it! This is a chunky sauce with big chunks of tomatoes in it. The sauce has a good flavor but it’s kinda bland to me. But most sauce from a jar are to me. I always add my own seasonings to the sauce too. But if I didn’t have any extra seasonings to put in it I would still eat it. Like I said it’s just a little bland to me. Usually sauces like this are a great starting base for the Italian dishes I make. The sauce does have a slight sweet taste that I’m not crazy about but can adjust with my own seasoning blend.

A lot of brown And wilted lettuce. Did not even eat it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sauce has great taste and texture. It comes in a thick glass container making it a little heavy. I like the thickness of the sauce and adds that perfect touch to any pasta. It is easy to open with the twist top and ease to use.
